Trash. This place is subpar and the food is lacking flavor. Picked up brisket and ribs, they were dry with no smoke flavor. The people working there didn’t help either, didn’t say a word when I walked in and looked at me like it was a chore to serve me food lol. Go to Bryan’s before this place, and this is coming from someone that has a running joke at work about how much I don’t like Bryan’s.

Over priced not enough food for the money almost 20 dollars one side of the bun was thicker then the amount of meat on it and a baby gap sized side of thrashy potatoe salad and horrible mac n cheese been going there for yrs never agin

Family picked up 2 pork sandwiches and BBQ chicken to go. Got home, the meat on the sandwiches were greasy and fatty, tasted old. The Cole slaw was transparent yellow, like it was days old. I've been nauseated for 3 hours since attempting to eat my sandwich. The chicken was cold and rock hard. Potato salad was also old and gross. Food was disgusting, waste of money, and time. Ruined our whole night. Hopefully I won't vomit.

We were hosting a group of 30 relatives in TX from WI for dinner, and wanted something that represented Texas BBQ. After reading reviews from restaurants in the area we decided to go with DJ's. Boy, are we glad we did! The service was excellent, giving us advice on what and how much to order, and the food was amazing!! We had brisket, sausage, beans and potato salad. It was all delicious! Thank you DJ's for a wonderful meal!
We ordered 3 meat plates with double brisket & ribs. Plus, a baked potato with slices beef. We ordered BBQ sauce on the side for all, however didn't get any at all. Most of the brisket was dry. The ribs were dry & hard. The potato salad was like mashed potatoes with a little seasoning in them. The pinto beans were good. The baked potato was still hard. I ordered extra cheese & good thing because other wise I would only gotten about a teaspoon and half. I don't think we will order from here again.
This place is a classic BBQ joint. Legend is that some of the owners of other BBQ restaurants in the area were trained at DJ's. Given how long DJ's has been here, that seems likely. The serving area appeared quite clean and the staff were very helpful. The brisket stuffed baked potato was delicious and big enough to share.
