I really like the food at El Potrillo and have been eating there for years. Today I wasn't very hungry and ordered just a side of refried beans. They charged me over 8$ for a half cup of beans. When I inquired, they let me know they charged me like it was a child's plate. Even the child's plate gets meat on it. I paid it but they have lost a customer.

Took my granddaughter for lunch with 2 other adults.. selected off of the lunch menu. Food was good but prices outrageous. I do not mind paying but this was not worth 75.00. Lunch menu is the same price as regular meals.. but what got me was paying 16.00 for 4 glasses of tea. Tea is just water. The lady at register said tea is the same price everywhere and was a little rude. I don’t think I will go back there for lunch

Excellent experience overall. Food and service was top notch. Spoke with the manager at length and she was very friendly. I didn’t care for the beans but everyone else did. Just a personal preference. Pricey for us as a family of 4. With 4 entrees, sopapillas for dessert, a couple sodas and a beer, we spent $105 when we checked out which was surprising to me. Food is very delicious and everyone agreed that they would come back again when in the area.

1st time here. Food was very good. Huge selection. Margarita was also very good. Servers were fast and friendly. No complaints here.

We love the cozy atmosphere of this place. It's far better than some of the other TexMex places in town, and the service can't be beat. Everything we have eaten here has been delicious and fresh. The prices are very fair and portions are generous. The tres leches cheesecake is sinfully good.

Its pretty good, they were very kid friendly and the food was good. It's a little pricier for the quality, but it was not bad.

Always exactly what I expect. Two locations. Brazoria and Clute. Both are great. Well worth a visit. A little pricey for lunch but a good experience.

I love this little restaurant. The food is good. It's quiet, and I can eat with my family in relative peace. Some of the food is really great-- like the Manager Special and Stuffed Chicken. The wait staff all seem to speak both English and Spanish. It's just that kind of place.

Rice and beans have no flavor, barbacoa seems like it’s from a Walmart freezer section and there’s more tortilla than anything with the tacos. $35 for 3 tacos and a cheese quesadilla, don’t waste your money here.
