The Picket Fence has been one of my favorite restaurants in the Brazosport area for many years. They have so many great appetizer and entree selections but invariably I gravitate to ordering their hamburger on a jalapeno bun. I also love their phenomenal cream of poblano soup. Great food and fast, friendly service.

I love the Picket Fence, we’ve been eating there forever. But please, tell your waiters to inform larger tables if the gratuity is added. When it’s time to pay, they don’t give an itemized receipt and our waiter lied when asked if the gratuity was included so all of us tipped on top of the grat. We will always tip, but not usually 40% and we definitely don’t like being lied to.

Hubby and I had the Philly and onion rings. They were phenomenal! Our waitress, Ashley, was amazing and very sweet. This is the first good restaurant we've been to since moving here. We will definitely be back.

I ordered two cheese burgers and the steak fingers. Worst burger I've ever had in my life. They were unbelievably dry, the meat tasted old, and they were flat and a perfect circle like they were definitely frozen. I was told Whataburger had much better steak fingers than these. The fries were nothing to write home about and the oil they fried them in was definitely old. Not a good experience, and I had bought lunch for my elderly parents and their caregiver. Won't make that mistake again. Whoever owns the picket fence should go in there and taste their food on occasion or they're probably going out of business.
