Mike has wonderful food, great service, and very friendly!! Will be back for more
The bbq is fine, maybe a step up from the other local places. However it's not worth the added price in comparison, nor the wait. If you don't call in ahead, expect to wait 20+ minutes for your food. Even for something as simple as a bbq sandwhich. I'll save my money and my time and go to a competitor. This level of service for a food that should be precooked is really unacceptable.

AMAZING! That's the only word that comes to mind for the food and service! Would definitely recommend! Even my 5yr old daughter ate all of it. It was soooo good!!! The owner and his wife were there and really went above and beyond to make sure we were good.

I was in town today visiting family and was really craving some Texas BBQ. Found Smokin' Mike's with a web search and I was not disappointed! Although the food prep and ordering are done from a food trailer, there is indoor seating with air conditioning or outdoor covered seating adjacent to the trailer. So don't let the casual setting scare you away - was as close to "backyard BBQ style" sit down spot as you will find. I ate under the covered patio, which was clean and quiet.
I had a 3 meat combo with double brisket and jalapeno sausage. Sides were pinto beans and potato salad. The meal also came with two slices of bread, sauce (on the side), and pickles and onions. Needless to say, I was stuffed when I was done.
Having owned my own BBQ restaurant for over 8 years, I know great BBQ, and this was it! The brisket was a mix of point and flat, both outstanding with plenty of juicy bark and tons of smoke flavor. Not dry at all, and cut with a fork. The jalapeno sausage was superb as well, with just a mild jalapeno flavor and a very generous portion. The beans were home-cooked and spiced just right. The potato salad was very good, as potato salad goes :-)
I am from the area originally and come back for visits a couple of times a year. I'll be adding this to my list of "got to have" stops for future visits.
Muy buena, cinco estrella!

This is the best kept secret in Clute/Lake Jackson. Generous portions and great prices. The owner Mike Segall does it the right way and truly goes that extra mile.

This is a great BBQ place. Mike is an awesome guy who knows his BBQ. His ribs are my favorite for sure. I will be back again soon. Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. Big portions and they have Big Red. ?

If you're a BBQ lover, this place is absolute heaven! From the moment I stepped out of my car, I was hit with the incredible aroma of smoky, slow-cooked meats, and I knew I was in for a treat.
I tried the brisket and ribs combo along with the loaded baked potato and it was out of this world! The brisket was tender, juicy, and had just the right amount of smokiness, while the ribs were perfection with a rich, flavorful sauce. The sides were just as impressive – the potato salad was creamy, and the beans had the perfect amount of seasonings. Only get the Spanish rice if you need a vessel to place your protein on as that was the only lackluster part of the meal. Tres leche was good, just an overwhelming amount of icing that frankly didn’t need. But maybe that’s the market they’re catering to down here.
Service was top-notch as well. The young lady taking my order did not rush through the transaction despite the line forming behind me.
I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend! Dare I say even better than Burn’s Bbq?
FYI: bring cash to avoid credit card service charge.

Stopped in recommended by coworker, and the food was great. The portions were generous. It’s a food truck with air conditioned indoor seating. I had the one meat plate, brisket (burnt ends and lean brisket) 2 sides were beans and rice. The brisket was tender with good smoky taste, and the rice and beans were delicious. Service was friendly and fast. I would absolutely come back again if I am in the area.

Brisket, Ribs and chicken were excellent. Thanks for the lunch Mike.
Big things come in small packages! We're so delighted to finally visit Smokin Mikes Bar B Q! I was beginning to doubt if there's truly a good BBQ joint down in these parts. Well, have no fear, Smokin Mikes is here!!!
We had the nachos. The Pulled Pork was smoked to the 9! Hubby had the Brisket nachos and was ready for FOOD COMA.
The only take away was the tortilla chips. Not fresh, straight out of the bag was giving us a kinda stale vibe. The Pulled Pork and Smoked Brisket made up for it. Suggestion: Fry your own or get better chips. Other than that, we'll be back!
Later Gator!
