Okay how do I get started went there around 8:30 in the morning and only one other customer was there which should’ve been one red flag. The waitress was kind and attentive. So I go ahead and order a coke and I start to drink it and notice small pieces of excrements on the rim of the glass. So after pushing the glass away very repulsively went ahead and ordered menudo which was okayish. I can tell it was watered down and had very little flavor but was edible. But the straw that broke the camels back was I saw something moving in the corner of my eye and there was a roach crawling across the table next to us just minding its own business. Paid check as soon as possible and got out. DO NOT GO!

We had a quick stop in Clute TX so we stepped in for breakfast at El Jimador. Service was great! She checked on us often and very friendly. Food was delicious. We hope to come back soon. We are from Houston.

Wow first time. I was overwhelmed by the menu way to many selection to choose from. It's a good thing if you ask me.

My torta had at least 80% fat, i asked the server for a replacement and the second one was a little better, but when i received the check it had a misc charge for the oyher sandwich. Also charged $10 for two drinks to go. Service was extremely slow.

Ordered delivery. Chips and salsa and 3 tacos with rice and beans. $37 with 20% tip. Tacos were ok, rice very good. About the Beans and the salsa, I should have thrown them away. But for 37 I made myself eat them. Other foods may be good. But first impression says I won't be going here to eat.

Why do I keep coming back to this place. Last night the service was terrible and drinks at the bar were not good either.

Oh how I miss the days of the old El Toro.

I ordered 1 meal enchilada meal, 1 margarita and 1 shot of tequila and my bill was $47.01!!!! That is ridiculous expensive!!!

They charge different prices at the register than listed in menu. I understand inflation, but, these crooks are literally just using menues from 2015 and changing prices without letting customers know, until they go to pay! They could at least tell you. OR print new menus. Wasn't that big of a fan of theirs anyways. They have a habit of overcooking certain menu items or serving foods that are soaked through with grease. They also allow drinking past cut off time, been happening. Sorry owner, and business.
