Excellent service and excellent food. There isn't much atmosphere, but everyone was so attentive, it just didn't matter and the food was delicious, so it really did not matter.Vegetarian options: I just asked for my big taco salad to be vegetarian, and they made it.

Long post.. do not waste your time your money your energy or your effort on this place.. as soon as I walked in through the door the atmosphere was uninviting, d e a d, musty, unprofessional staff, unclean environment, food was thrown together the presentation was piss poor quesadilla was cold with the cheese still cold and the quesadilla kept falling apart because it would not stick together. I asked for a booth the booth already had a drink on it and food I asked him man to clean the table off he removed the items and then he simply pulled the paper towel out of the paper towel dispenser and wiped it I told him that was unacceptable it needed to be cleaned with chemicals at this point he acted like he did not understand English and he wiped the table three times before the customers and everyone else realized we were upset because he did not properly clean the table. They charged me for items that I did not purchase I was overcharged for things the menu said one price they charge you another and then they say they don't understand English.. the waitress told me that it was not my problem that the hamburger meat had carrots in it and she walked off I refuse to pay for the meal and she got mad she did not inform us of anything on the menu her answers was I don't know I don't know and every time we ask a question she had an attitude customer service was poor between her and the other mail servers restaurant was dirty this is nothing like the El Jimador in Angleton that location receives a 10 this location they need to shut down customer service is sorry the food is not up to par like it is in Angleton apparently nobody speaks English enough to understand anything every time you ask a question they say I do not know I do not understand when we ask for items to be removed from our ticket they became mad we asked for a refill on our drink they became mad.. I could have spent my $65 across the street in El Toro where I know my needs are going to be met and I'm going to receive excellent customer service. This place is open just to say that they have two locations because everything is piss poor customer service food location atmosphere cleanliness the drinks or watered down the margarita has no tequila in it.. I suggest if you prefer to waste $65 I prefer to go give it to a homeless man where I know that it will beneficial. We wasted time money gas breath and everything else going to this location this will be our first and last time here. If you want to visit El Jimador please go to the Angleton location

I like to go and try out every mexican restaurant in whatever area i’m in just to compare which is best. This place is by far the best mexican place i’ve ever gone to. ever since i’ve found this place it’s been hard to go anywhere else! highly highly recommend.

The most horrible experience of my life, barbacoa was some Shreaded meat, menudo was slimmy. Chorizo was cheap brand. 29.00 for two people. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Ive been going here since I was a kid moving from angleton to the clute location . The food used to be amazing but the last (few) times the beef has been horrible and they overcharge you and don’t give a proper receipt . Sad to see my childhood restaurant turn out so bad .

A worker walked out of the stall after obviously pooping and I watched as the employee didn't even look to wash his hands. I really hope all the employees don't do this.
