This place is an off-the-beaten-path gem! We ordered takeout and will not order Chinese from anywhere else. When we picked up our order, the owner told us to try everything before we added additional sauces or soy sauce. And he was so right! The food was incredibly flavorful and perfectly balanced. We ordered the chicken fried rice and chicken with garlic sauce. The fried rice was amazing, probably the best I've ever had! The chicken with garlic sauce was sweet and spicy and extremely fresh tasting. And plenty for leftovers! We will recommend Taste of Nations to everyone looking for authentic Chinese! The owner is so friendly and really cares about his food and customers. We will be back!

Owner chef is delightful to talk to and loves what he does. Don't let the outside kinda hard to find spot fool you. It's worth pulling in. Ambiance inside is good as is the flavorful

We eat here when we’re visiting family at Surfside Beach! The food is great & the service is excellent! Things were slow & the owner visited with us a lot! He is very funny and friendly! We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed a wonderful, tasty, authentic meal tonight. The owner/chef/matre'd was so friendly. He ensured our complete satisfaction.My only disappointment was that they were not busier. Go check them out. You won't be disappointed.
While The building may not be much to look at, the food is exceptional. We had the General Tso's chicken. The best part, however, was speaking with the owner on the dishes that he's made and the history behind many of the dishes we take for granted in the United States. His goal is to produce traditional recipes based on the history of the food he serves. The sad part is this is a gem that is ignored based on location. Hopefully this review will help people to find it again.

So my friend decided he wanted me to try his favorite Chinese place and we ended up here last night. The outside is an interesting amalgamation of stuff....the inside is clean and bright and comfortable. The owner is incredibly funny, and attentive and the food is incredible.
