Didn't even get to order before my husband, a 34 year Army Combat Veteran was harassed about his service dog. Read your ADA rules

Was passing by town at dinnertime and my son looked up reviews for what's in town and chose here. We were happily surprised by how good it was! I had a steak on fries and he had chicken fried steak fingers and it was delicious!!! Now I'm planning a trip back to the area just to eat here again!

Fantastic meal in every way! A quick drive from Abilene and we were treated to great food and excellent customer service. A rare combo these days. We had the steak fingers and chicken fried steak. Both were excellent. The CFS was fork tender and great flavor. My wife loved the steak fingers. They had a special on peach cobbler that day. My wife brought it home it was yummy! It was only 2 bucks!!! What a deal!!Our server was Andrea and she was AWESOME! She had a great spirit and obviously loves her job and Coleman. She told us about other things to do in town. We will definitely go back soon!

We stopped here on a lark and were pleasantly surprised by delicious and imaginative dishes. Kylie's Bowl was a big winner with juicy, perfectly seasoned chicken, beans, pico de gallo, avocado, and queso served over rice. I got the same, but with sirloin. The homemade onion rings were perfectly battered and fried to perfection. Darlene, our server, was friendly and informative and gave us perfect service throughout our meal. We highly recommend the Cattle Drive Cafe and Bull Bar.

Great steaks, fries, and even, for a steak house, decent salads. Staff are friendly and fun. Beer flows regularly and mixed drinks are good. Haven't tried the wine. Wine? Do they have it? Don't know. Anyway, the atmosphere is ranch country.

Went there the other night with friends for dinner. Got the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. It was absolutely the best CFS I have had in many years! Service is great and friendly. Love the decor inside. It is rustic but not too noisy to visit.

Cattle Drive Cafe is located in Coleman Texas on their main road downtown. Many good places to eat here. Atmosphere: Very large dining area split into several different rooms of an old downtown building. For some reason on the day we visited it was about 55° inside the restaurant. There were a couple of tables with blankets over their laps and EVERY table had people wearing coats or heavy jackets. It was a very mild day outside, so I don't know what the need for the low temperature, AND all the fans were blowing. Their was no explanation from staff on why it was so cold. 0.5 StarsService: Other than the cold, the waitress was very nice and attentive. We were sat almost immediately when we arrived and the place was hopping. Food was served fairly quickly. 1.5 StarsFood: We had some fried pickles and their famous onion rings. Both were quite good. Wife had the small cheeseburger and said it was good. Daughter had the chicken fried chicken which she said was very good. Gravy was nice and peppery. My son went with the special of the day which was a rather surprising dish of chicken parmesan. it was huge. He managed to get about of it down before packing it up to eat later. I had the fried catfish which comes in nugget form and quite good. Everything got cold very quickly because of the room temperature but it all came out hot. 1.5 StarsOverall: all of the food was quite good with large portions. Many dishes could easily be split between two people. Hopefully our temperature fiasco was just an anomaly and it won't be that way next time we go. But we would definitely like to go back and try a couple of other new items.

Chicken fried steaks as big as your plate, big pile of french fries and another side. We took home 1/2 our steaks and my baked potato. Heated them up and ate the next night. They were great then, too.

Food is good, sometimes when it's busy they get a little slow and might not come to the table a whole lot but the food is worth it. Catfish is solid, Chicken Fried Steak is good, onion rings are good, chips and salsa are good. Good vibe, good people, good food, what can you ask for?

Great decor and friendly service. Tasty fries but soggy . Salad was great. We ordered the 16oz KC for one and shared it. Meat came in 4 pieces. Great taste but a tad overcooked. Rolls appeared store bought.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Our waitress was alone! Rachel our waitress was on point with service. Onion rings homemade, chicken fried steaks not all breading and shrimp poppers were a great different appetizer!
