Came in at 1:30pm on a Sunday. A lady comes aggressively walking to the door shouting “We Are Closed”!
I pointed to the hours posted indicating a 2pm and asked if the hours had changed.
Again the person was aggressively advancing shouting “We are Closed” the person added in the same aggressive tone “We ran out of food”. The entire time I was stepping back. When I cleared the doorway the doorway the door was slammed and loudly locked.
Uncertain why the hostility was given.
In the past meals and service have been decent to fair.
Willing to give them another chance as dining options in a small town are slim on a Sunday.

We went in for 2 cheese burgers and fried had water drink.. wife ordered a gravy for her fries it was cold and super think an extra $2. Menu price like 15 for burger add a buck for cheese. Yes cheese slices is most ridiculous mark up ever. Needless to say almost $40 2 cheese burger combos . Aftwr leaving within a small time frame we both had bubble gut off to a bathroom we went. Never again

This was my first time here as I passed through town. It was VERY slow to get a table with another couple leaving when relegated to the outdoor with a man, who seemed to be someone the staff knew well, started smoking. I should have taken the cue myself. A non-staff member who the staff said was a long-time customer, cleaned off a table for me to seat. I thanked her. I waited at the table some 20 minutes before getting a drink order even. Yes, the waitress acknowledged me but didn't meet her promise of how long she would be before taking my order. The food. I ordered a medium-rare hamburger steak with onions. The onions were chopped and totalled about 20 squares. The Asparagus was underwhelmiing at 8 pieces and short pieces. The hamburger steak was not seasoned that I could tell and was quite well done - not medium rare as I asked. I asked the waitress about the extra sour cream and cheese I requested. Do you know they charge $2.50 for loaded baked potatoes here? I figured I would get a great amount. I intentionally had the hamburger steak cut into multiple pieces with several pieces turned that anyone could see it was well-done and not anything near medium rare. I know the waitress looked at my plate given her explanation about the sour cream and cheese. Note: I'm very sure the baked potatoe was older then baked that day. The potatoe had that unmistakenable flovor of being re-heated and not fresh. I started this attempt to eat here at about 1:15pm. I didn't get out until after their closing time of 2pm. There was another set of folks who had to get their own silverware. Let's pretend they were busy before I arrived. That doesn't explain the overcooked meal, the VERY FEW onions and VERY FEW asparagus (and short) spears. I listened closely to background chatter from other tables. Two tables remarked about this being the only place open to eat in town (Sunday). It wasn't completely true but that indicates people's perception and they only say that in frustration to thinking they had to eat there or no where. Throughout the entire visit, the screen door remained open from the building to the outdoor eating area. I saw insects such as flies go thorugh the door into the restaurant building. I didn't see a technical reason the door couldn't be closed. Later, I saw a couple leaving and they closed the door behind them so this confirmed there was no mechanical issue preventing the door closure. This is the same door the staff uses so they could have closed it. I simply watched as they never closed that door. Lots of insects! I don't recall a single proactive iced tea refill. I had to ask. Once the tea came out more like water with no tea taste. I paid and tipped 20% but regretted the entire visit. As you can see from my exit photo, I was way after everyone else leaving only becuase I had to or not take a breath after eating to relax.

Whoever the battle ax with the brown hair is banging on the cashier keys working 7/3/25 @ 6:30 p.m. is the rudest person I have ever encountered. My wife and I are traveling through town and tried finding something in Coleman the day before the 4th. After a few let downs, we were excited to try this restaurant. After running in an absolute pouring down rainstorm, both soaking wet to enter the restaurant. My wife kindly asked the die hard at the register for a dry napkin or towel, and she rudely pointed her figure towards the bathroom and said we have paper towels. Mind you, the paper towels are about .5 ply and disintegrated as soon as she tried using it. Overall, our waitress and food was great, but the front lady SUCKED and did not have a patriotic attitude to have a job nor treat people with respect.

Decent food. Drama within the wait staff was uncomfortably obvious. Awesome atmosphere. My second time eating here , with not many choices in the area will likely come again due to limitations. Hoping to find a dish I can say I really like and that they are consistently good at.

The service was great! Great ladies. Food was good. They have no ac brought my young kids and we were miserable the entire time. Expensive in my opinion. They charge full price for refills and for to go cups. No napkins. this is why people don’t go to small businesses anymore bc they upcharge everything.
