Gluten Free heaven. The food was AMAZING. I am celiac and most items are gluten free. Fryers are gluten free. I was able to have dishes that I have not eaten for almost a decade. My dining companion is not gluten free and he enjoyed the food as much as I did. This food is wonderful whether you need gluten free or not. Mikayla was informed, friendly and efficient. My deepest thanks to her for suggesting the gluten free stout.

Love this place! Have been here 2 times in 3 weeks, and it has been great both Saturdays. Fish and chips, and the shepherds pie!!!

Absolutely enjoyed this place. Decor was spot on and fun. Service was good. Food was excellent. I had a Scotch Egg and the Fish and Chips. I highly recommend this place.Gluten Free Fish and Chips? They have them. FYI - Onion Rings only available during week.

Started with a Paulaner Heifeweizen at the bar. Decided to have a meal there. Ordered Brussel Sprouts and Bacon Salad to start. Raspberry Vinagrette dressing mixed well with the greens, bacon and Brussel Sprouts. Brussel Sprouts were nice and tender and nicely seasoned. Excellent salad! Next was beef and ale stew. Nicely portioned and rich in flavor. The peas, carrots, mashed potatoes, beef and broth are nicely balanced and not over seasoned or cooked.

Nope. Just don't do it. Food was almost 30 minutes late. It was sub-par flavor/food that WAS piping hot, but quality of the salad looked like the bagged salad greens suspiciously from Costco and more of a garnish with the shepherds pie. Shepherds pie was okay, but wasn't worth the wait.

Got fish and chips to go. Fish and chips were soggy and the side of mushy peas was barely condiment size. Wtf? How is the side the size of a condiment container? Basically a spoon size of sides? Seriously? See the pictures. They literally put a side of mushy peas in a condiment container. That's barely a spoon. Again. Wtf? They need to find a way to make to go orders not soggy. Making holes in the box and not adding lemon inside would help. Also, please do better on the sides. You can't give customers a teaspoon/condiment size of sides. Seriously.

We decided to go to From Across The Pond restaurant even though it didn't have a 5 star review. I was concerned that the food and service wouldn't meet my expectation. I really eat out a lot and like the good stuff with good service. I'm spoiled. I really liked this English themed restaurant. Inside the decorations we nothing exciting, but clean and nice. We went on a Saturday night. The service was excellent, they had really good attentive servers. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the Shepherds pie. Both were good, but I really liked my fish and chips better. I snuck a taste of my wife's pie for the sake of this review. We also shared Sticky Bread Pudding, it was amazing. If you want to have good food and are in the neighborhood, I really recommend this restaurant.

This place is more like a 3.75 out of 5 stars. really random to find a British restaurant in the middle of DFW, but i'm glad i did. When we came for an early dinner, it was really crowded. We put our name down for 2 people, and the hostess told us it would be roughly a 30 mins wait. We decided to wait outside, and in 10 mins we checked in again to see if we could order drinks at the bar and drink them outside. Apparently, two spots opened up for us at the bar and we didn't mind sitting there compared to a table. The bar seating is first come first served. We ended up getting shepherds pie, bangers and mash and an order of scotch eggs. Honestly, if you go to a british place, you need to either get the fish and chips or the shepherds pie. (kinda mad at myself for not getting the fish and chips.) Anyways, for the two entrees, they were very filling and great tasting. As for the scotch eggs, we ended up getting 2 orders, which ran us 12 bucks. (I don't think i should've gotten two and to be honest, they were just ok, think i could've done without them). Considering it was busy, the service was a bit slow even sitting at the bar. It looked like they were short on staff and the "bartender" had to help with other aspects of the restaurant. i'll definitely come back and try the fish and chips.

My friend brought me here for a late birthday lunch on a Friday afternoon this august (2022). We walked in and there was a jolly crowd watching soccer in the teeny pub. My introverted self was like "WHOA." However my friend reassured me that she made a great choice bringing me here. So we sat down and eventually ordered drinks and food. I will add that I'm a bit of an Anglophile so it really was a treat to come here. Staff was friendly. The place had great energy and is cozy. My friend and I ordered an appetizer and two entrees. I enjoyed the appetizer sampler. My chicken tikka masala butty (?) wasn't my favorite. However I'll try something different next time. My friend and I both agreed that the sausage rolls with the appetizer were GOOD. Hell. She ordered a couple to go to take home to her husband. We will be back most definitely! And kudos to whoever made my London Mule - that was a STRONG and tasty pour! :)

I have been going to their last 3 places over the past 6 years. It has been going downhill slowly but steadily. Went there today with my 10 yo son who couldn't eat the fries they were so bad. My meal was OK but could have been much nicer if it had been warmer than warm. The Nan bread was stale and one piece as solid as a tack. FATP does get the award for being the first eatery (cannot call it a restaurant) to defeat my son in him not eating the fries first. My previous trip I had a curry that had more salt in it than chicken. Do not dare comment on the food to the owner - he will call you all the names under the sun. No wonder only 2 tables were in used on a Friday lunchtime.

The staff here are really what make this place shine. I hadn't been to this location and was a little shocked at the difference between this and the last. This feels much more like a cafe now or small diner. Decorated with British fare and a smaller menu which has become more common for so many reasons but I'm a fan. The fish and chips were good and so was the coleslaw. The chicken tikka needs some work in my opinion. The chicken was tough and the naan looks more like lunch-able bread. But maybe that's because there are so many good Indian food restaurants around that our tastebuds are a little more educated now. Really sweet staff and they make sure you don't go without. Thank you for a fun time!

Simply amazing! The GF onion rings, GF fish/chips and GF bread pudding were fantastic! You can’t even tell they are gluten free! We will be back to try more items on the menu! Shout out to Victoria and Chef Meg!
