I got a sausage plate with coleslaw and mac and cheese. The sausage was really good and I LOVE the bbq sauce!! The coleslaw was original and tasty. I got the mac and cheese based off other reviews on here, but I personally thought it was gross. It tasted like straight Velveeta to me. Still 5 stars for me, though! I will just try a different side next time!

I've been told by multiple people to try this place - supposedly the best bbq in the area. Maybe my expectations were high, but this was one of the worst bbq's I've tried since moving to TX. I let it go when the amounts of my order was completely wrong (even though the person wrote down my order - 1/2 lb each ribs, brisket, coleslaw, and beans, 1 lb potato salad) - the amounts were provided in reverse, so when my order came out to over $80 I was shocked! They were nice enough to fix everything, but I ended up getting less than 1/2 lb of each item...still cost around $40 :(. The worst of it was how ridiculously greasy the brisket and ribs were - we literally held up a rib bone and slices of brisket and saw grease dripping off both (and not just a drop or two). There was a pool of grease in both containers of meat. It made for a very unappetizing experience - ended up throwing it away. The sides were okay...decently flavored. Based on our experience, we're going to keep looking for a decent bbq spot. This place isn't for us.

Really, really, really.. nice store! You might be mistaken, thinking it's a "gas station food" - Its not! Their brisket sandwich might be best in the town, I have to admit! Try it and you see, well, taste what I am talking about! P/S They sell alcohol over there as well! It tastes great too!?
I come here for the Mexican food. Brisket burrito, brisket torta, enchilada plate and brisket breakfast sandwich with a fried egg. All these things are amazing. Do yourself a favor and try it.
Looked this up on Google Maps for a lunch meetup. Was surprised that this place was so unassuming and inside a convivence /liquor store. However the smell upon approaching the counter was excellent and there was a line 8 people deep. Ordered the three meat plate with brisket, hot links, and bologna with cole slaw and mac & cheese ( I actually don't like mac & cheese - figured I would save it for my son later). Totally blown away, all excellent meats, portions were great, the slaw was right at that not overly creamy, not overly sweet that I really like and I ate all the mac & cheese. Brought home some left overs so the rest of the fam could try it and they also thought it was great! Wil be back soon!

I highly recommend this place for everyone. I recently went to San Antonio and had the opportunity to try several BBQ locations and this one blew all of those BBQ joints out of the water. The sauce was amazing and the mac and cheese is very good! Has sort of a chipotle flavor to it with the most unique orecchiette pasta. My husband purchased a two meat plate with two sides and he was blown away as well. We will most definitely be back!
