They catered my wedding this past Saturday. We decided on the brisket, sausage, butter potatoes, green beans, mash potatoes, and coleslaw. Hands down it was a hit! One of the biggest complaints people have at weddings is the food is not good. I had a ton of people calling to let me know how much fun they had and also how they enjoyed the food. It was extremely reasonable and I will be visiting them again soon.
Since this was our first time here and since the sign outside said BBQ, I asked the server which BBQ meat was the best. His reply was that they were all very good. So then I asked which was their favorite. They all said tri-tip. Naturally, I had to find out just how good it was. The first thing it noticed as the meat was being sliced was that it had a great bark and only their dry rub -- no sugary sauce. Despite their efforts they managed to put out above average BBCue. Brisket had ok bark, good smoke, ok pull, and was not dry. That said the need to learn trim their brisket as well as well as learn to cut it in the right direction. Sausage was awesome. House made with lots of pepper. Juicy ribs that had good flavor and smoke. Might have needed to cook another 30 min. Overall not bad.
