My daughter & I dined in. She ordered the buffet & I ordered the chicken salad plate & a cup of shrimp gumbo.
It took too long to get the salad & it was brought out without the gumbo. When I asked abt it I was told I could serve myself from the buffet. I asked her to remove the charge from my ticket & remarked if I had been told that earlier I would have already served myself. My server did come back shortly with a cup of gumbo & apologized & said I would not be charged for the cup.
Overall, it’s a great place to stretch the legs, eat & use the restroom.

In my point of view, the breakfast buffet is not bad, it just lacks a touch of seasoning and variety, I know it is an American breakfast system but it does lack a little vegetables to complement and the eggs, change them from time to time for eggs starred, but it is recommended if you are passing through the city and stop by for breakfast.

Home cooked food on the lunch buffet with good variety and a full salad bar. Several selections of dessert are included with the buffet price. Very good service.
We eat here a few times a year, meeting our son from austin ,schobel.s is half way between his hm.in austin and us ,close to sargent beach. We always enjoy a delicious family dinner, always good food ,prices and service !!!
