We drive nearly 25 mi just to go to this restaurant. The new owner has done a fantastic job with her menu selections, her daily lunch specials, and her cakes and pies are awesome. We strongly recommend a visit to this fantastic restaurant but do know that they close early after lunch. They serve breakfast all afternoon as well. For the holidays be sure and order your pies and cakes in advance and you will not be disappointed. The coconut cream pie we had today was fantastic.

Parking: Plenty of street parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: They only have one handicap spot but it's has a ramp to the sidewalk from the street, you just have to go down to it to get up to the sidewalk level.

This place was a great stop on a whim while driving home. The breakfast was great, and the service was very personable. You should definitely try the biscuits!! Amazing!

The food is always good here, and the service is always friendly. I eat here almost every week. Breakfast and daily specials including soup of the day are great and home cooked. I usually get breakfast and it’s always good and more than enough. The owner makes a variety of fresh pies every day. Small town at its best.

Parking: Parking is “pull in” along the public street.

Kid-friendliness: It’s a casual family atmosphere so easy to take your kids.

Exactly what you want from a small town cafe!! Homey atmosphere, friendly service and food just like Grandma cooks!! I had to check the kitchen and make sure my Grandma wasn't back there cooking. After lunch, we strolled around the area and checked out amazing Historical Homes. Highly recommend!!

Food is strange. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which I wouldn't think would have lettuce, tomatoes and mayo on eggs, ham and cheese. Maybe it should mention that in the menu.
I didn't expect ice in my orange juice either.
