This cafe is such a gem in Columbus! It has amazing food and the server was so friendly and attentive. Their jam is homemade as are the biscuits which are delicious!! The country breakfast is a really good deal…you get so much good food for $11.50! If traveling between Austin and Houston, you don’t want to miss this spot!

Quaint little diner in the middle of Columbus Tx. Popular lunch place in the area. Food is pretty good. Definitely a break from the standard fast food locations in the area.
If like a “not quite accomplished blue plate special”, then this is your place, but just know going in, it’s not perfection.

We love the small town atmosphere and the cafe has inexpensive pricing, but the food was only ok. The dewberry and wild grape jams however were delicious.

We drive nearly 25 mi just to go to this restaurant. The new owner has done a fantastic job with her menu selections, her daily lunch specials, and her cakes and pies are awesome. We strongly recommend a visit to this fantastic restaurant but do know that they close early after lunch. They serve breakfast all afternoon as well. For the holidays be sure and order your pies and cakes in advance and you will not be disappointed. The coconut cream pie we had today was fantastic.

Parking: Plenty of street parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: They only have one handicap spot but it's has a ramp to the sidewalk from the street, you just have to go down to it to get up to the sidewalk level.
