First time visiting Neal’s and it was incredible!! Started with chips and salsa. The salsa is homemade and had a kick to it! Very good! My kids shared a cheeseburger and fries and everything was eaten! I had the Swiss mushroom chicken with sautéed squash and potato salad. Tasty tasty tasty!! The sautéed squash was my favorite!! This is a great restaurant that sits on the edge of the Frio River in Concan just outside Garner State part. The views of the river below are great. The food was great as well. It was extremely busy on the Sunday morning we were there but the service was fast and the food came out quickly. I highly recommend this place if you're going to be in the area.
Neal's is a hospitable, country cooking restaurant located in the heart of the Hill Country (Concan to be specific). They have a full dining room because they offer comfort foods and delightful service.
