These sandwiches SLAP 👏 EVERY 👏 TIME 👏. Ignore the fact that you're in a furniture store. I find myself CRAVING these sandwiches at least once a week. They are so fresh, big portions, and the sweet treats are all handmade in-house with wholesome healthy ingredients. I can never snap a pic because my mouth is watering and I must immediately devour it.

This sandwich shop is the freakin bomb. I got the 12” Italian grinder and it was delicious. They got 12” and 8” subs to pick from and you can make it a combo. You get a drink, small cookie, and chips with the combo so it’s the perfect stop for lunch. It was pretty pricey ($17), but you get a good portion of food. All of their sandwiches also come with Boars Head.

Highly recommend if you’re in the area and like to grab something to go!

Was pleasantly surprised, went out to lunch with friends and saw the good reviews. Picked it without knowing it was in AWF. Lol, I have to admit I judged it pretty hard when I saw it was in the store, but it is good enough to just visit it for breakfast/lunch without shopping! Fresh made bread, veggies were all very fresh. It would be nice if they had a table instead of just counter space to eat at, but the rest was quite good. They have a proper espresso machine, and the desserts are tasty too.

Went into AFW specifically for this place and was not disappointed. I HIGHLY recommend you try their Italian Grinder, it’s amazing and the bread is so soft.

I’ve been coming here since John opened the bakery, and I used to love it. However, for the past couple of weeks, the place has been run by two young ladies who seem to have no idea what they’re doing. Today, after spending almost $50 on two meals, my order was completely wrong. The croissant tasted like chicken grease on the bottom, the tea was stale with an unpleasant taste, and they forgot one of my meals. Even worse, although I paid for chips and a drink, I still didn’t receive the chips. I called and asked to speak with the owner, but was met with, “Who are you?” If things continue this way, you'll lose all your customers and ruin the business.

Great food at a great value. Love the attention to using quality ingredients. I don’t mind paying a premium for quality.

What a pleasant surprise! We went furniture shopping and decided to grab a quick bite. I ordered the turkey Reuben and my husband ordered the Italian grinder. These sandwiches were on the same level as Tony’s! Amazing!! Huge portions. We could have easily split a sandwich. We will be returning!

Gorgeous staff. High quality products.. the food is really delicious, the coffee is the best cup I’ve had in a long time.. what a surprise

I ordered the breakfast bowl that is scrambled egg, bacon, potato and cheese. It was unseasoned but would have been acceptable when i added salsa but the eggs were burned brown and dry. Very disappointed.

I stopped by the counter while shopping for furniture. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this restaurant as I am familiar with other Galindo businesses and they're always amazing. I got multiple prepared pastas to-go to eat throughout the week along with a caprese salad. Everything was so delicious and fresh. The owner was running the counter and was so helpful and informative about her products. I have been dying to go back and try some other things. If you’re in the area, don’t sleep on this place for a quick bite!
