I ordered an oyster poboy and chicken gumbo and was hungry and disappointed after the meal. The gumbo had rough chopped large pieces of celery and green peppers. The flavor of the broth tasted strange and had one speck of chicken. The oysters in the poboy looked like they were breaded with flour instead of cornmeal and was undercooked and mushy. The poboy was not served on French bread.
Baytown Seafood is no more. It has been replaced with another Mexican restaurant. The food is decent but we will miss Baytown Seafood

Had dinner with friends here a few weeks ago and want to go back asap! We tried a variety of appetizers, the boiled shrimp were small but tasty, egg rolls and oysters were very good. My dinner shrimp were large, fresh, and fried to perfection. Fries and onion rings were excellent, coleslaw was crisp and creamy - just right. Fellow diners loved their meal choices as well. I'm looking forward to trying the grilled fish next visit. Service was good, everyone was polite and friendly. Lots of menu choices. Affordable prices.
I love Baytown seafood. The fried shrimp is fantastic.

My wife and I live in Fort Worth and were recently visiting the Conroe area. We were joined by her sister & niece from the Chicago area.
I was dying for some fried shrimp, but she wanted Thai food, pad Thai in particular. How to solve that? Well...look no further!
We arrived not long before closing, but we weren't rushed at all. The waitress was very patient, explaining lots of options, especially to my niece, who's 14.
Well, I got my shrimp, all right, and they were huge and perfectly cooked, with a delicious breading -- light and crispy. Yum. My wife's pad Thai made her very happy.
Overall, everyone was very happy.
The atmosphere is very casual, just what I wanted. The restaurant was very clean.
Prices were a real bargain, considering portion size and quality.
Really a great little place.
I would come back here anytime. I was hoping to drop by again before we returned home, but we ran out of time.
Thanks!

Everything was just okay...over-priced for the quality of the food and atmosphere.
Menu and food was fantastic. There were good specials such as the 10.99 LARGE Chicken Fried Steak I enjoyed. The waitresses were very careful to ask me if I wanted the shrimp spicy or not spicy, chilled, or hot, etc.
They did a great job. The manager Cutberto was very attentive and is a good person. God bless this establishment. I believe you’re in for a treat if you’ll stop by for lunch or dinner!
By far the best burger in town
