I had a fantastic experience at Black Walnut in Conroe! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. I had the turkey burger this time & it was delicious. Great seasoning, plenty of veggies on it to include avocado. Be hungry, it's large! I ditched half of the bread, in order to eat all the other yummy parts, but the bun was delicious too!

The problem with what you shared about the ordering process is that we were told to sit wherever without anyone saying how the ordering process worked. We sat at the table 10 min with not one person showing up at the table. FINALLY someone showed up as we were preparing to get up and leave. We were shown the QR code and not offered to order “with a friendly cashier”
I really dislike going into a restaurant and having to order on my phone. I ordered a wedge salad. It came out as a whole head of lettuce. It was inedible because you couldn’t cut it without it flying off the plate and all of the blue cheese, bacon, and all that stuff just went flying everywhere and the amount of lettuce versus the amount of toppings, it was horrible Nashville hot chicken Benedict was decent

The food is a little on the pricier side, just slightly. But it's a nice brunch spot overlooking a small air field. Inside is quiet and comfortable, outside is hot and loud yet exciting (it's an airfield). parking is surprisingly not bad. There isn't a ton of parking, yet I've never had trouble getting a spot.
I've had several of their breakfast items and have yet to order the same thing twice. Their coffees are delicious and well proportioned for their price. The meals are tasty. Staff is friendly. It's a strong recommend for a nice brunch.
