Me and my boys just found us a new spot! Big hefty plates at a good price. GOOD potato salad, Good beans, Good meat and don't mention the peach clobber oh me oh my it's the best. And friendly people.
This place HITS THE SPOT! The food here is fantastic. Their sign may say catering, but they have a whole dining area where you can enjoy your meal.They have a timeline of pictures and awards from their opening until now, which really gives it a home feel. This place is perfect if you are looking for some of the best barbeque in the great state of Texas. The workers are super helpful and will go beyond for a memorable visit. One place you really need to check out while in Conroe.
I had Darrel's cater an event for the Conroe Knights of Columbus. I received nothing but raves about both the food and service from the attendees. Mickey came by to help set up the place and then left the outstandingly capable Gabby in charge. She did a bang up job. The serving was done very professionally with all necessary COVD precautions followed at all times. Serving size was large and quality of the food on a plate was great. Leftovers were wrapped and left with us....
