The service was amazing. There was a great variety of food but some of the food wasn't tasty. The best thing I found on the buffet was the BBQ chicken and sweet potatoes. I wouldn't recommend the steak it is not seasoned and not flavorful.

Over the years we have eaten at Golden Coral and other similar buffets. Most of the food was not tasty and much of it was died out. There only saving grace was that the desserts were pretty tasty

It has been a while since I've stepped foot into one of these establishments. The atmosphere hadn't changed, large amounts of working-class people enjoying the company of their families and other loved ones. A sense of hustle as they make their way to and from the buffet.
What surprised me was the quality of the food. The salad was fresh and crisp. The bread was warm and soft. Then there was the steak, I've never had a steak here assuming it would be low-quality beef and I was wrong. Pleasantly surprised doesn't begin to cover. It was GOOD, like in I've had worse steak at Roadhouse GOOD.
Maybe it's worth a visit?

This was the worst golden corral I have ever been to in my life. Clam chowder is usually white in color, this clam chowder was brown , and had a 1/2 inch thick skin on top like a pudding skin....it was burnt from being there so long, disgusting. The fried okra and fried shrimp were so soggy they could not be eaten. Don't even get me started on the men's room. We won't be back.
