First time trying this place and they knocked it out of the park. Polite and friendly staff and my burger was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and clean. Will definitely return to try more.

We were there around 30 minutes to closing and they was so kind. They did excellent on our order. My husband had an avocado burger. I had mushroom and cheese with onions of my burger and it was absolutely excellent. I also added avocado and it was tremendous. The service was very kind. I knew they were about to close but they still had a great attitude and as they began to close the dining room they made sure that everything was good with us and what we were eating and about our refills before we left so they had excellent customer service. We felt very welcome there even though it was late they made sure we had a good time.

I had a really great experience with the customer service at Hippo Burgers. The guy working the drive-thru was exceptionally friendly, professional, and had great recommendations. The overall customer care was awesome. That said, the food quality really let me down—the nachos were the most stale chips I’ve ever had, and I actually have jaw pain from them. The burger was also way overpowered by mustard—hardly any meat flavor. I really hope they improve their food, because I love this brand and want to keep coming back.

Each time I have been in there, it is dirty. My shoes stick to the floor. Employees are disinterested in doing anything. The last time was a few days ago, we were the only customers there. The girl taking orders spoke so quietly I couldn't hear her. The guy standing near her appeared to be the manager. We ordered 3 meals and 2 shakes. The guy brought the meals, but not the shakes. When I asked about them, he said the girl would get them. I ate over half my burger before the shakes showed up. In the meantime, the guy just stood behind the counter. They also had no spoons to get the chocolate pieces out of the shake. It is too bad management will cause this location to close. The food is great.

Food was surprisingly good!! I ordered the Hawaiian burger combo!🍔 🩷 the horchata was super sweet, so I added a little bit of water and it was fine. Customer service is great!!! The floor isn’t the cleanest inside but it didn’t bother me much 🤷🏻♀️ I’d come back here again, the burgers remind me of Krabby patties from SpongeBob 🍍🩷

I took my food to go, so I can’t say much about atmosphere, but the burger and fries were good. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and garlic fries and received a burger with grilled onions, avocado, and tomatoes. The burger was luckily still delicious, the fries were seasoned instead of garlic, they were over seasoned, not great. Overall I’m disappointed that I spent $15 and didn’t realize that I received the wrong food until it was too late to go back, but the burger was still 10/10!

I must say that this is the first time I've been disappointed in Hippo Burger. Myself and my wife went thru the drive thru yesterday 30 October 2025. We ordered one double meat hippo burger, one double meat hippo cheese burger and two orders of fries (what can I say we were very hungry). We asked that the fries not have any salt on them because we are senior citizens and don't need the extra salt. Got home and the fries were perfect like always, but the burgers had so much salt on them we couldn't finish them. Was a waste of good money on what is normally our very favorite burgers. The disappointment is very bad.

This place is a solid spot in Conroe up there with the other local spots for sure. Cajun fries are the ones to get. Sweet buns are meant to be eaten fast fyi.
