I have been here a few times. Most of the visits were positive. The place is decorated very nicely and is clean!! The people are nice and the food is good and reasonable. The last time I was here, the waitress wasn't as good. There were only 5 tables on a sunday and two waitresses. It wasn't that busy. Our table was the biggest with 9 people. The food took a minute to come out. It was hot and only one mess up, which was corrected right away. The waitress, however, filled our drinks when we ordered, filled everyone else's one more time, and that was it. She didn't check on us at all after that. I had asked for a refill 3 times and didn't get it. Then I had to approach her in front of another staff member and basically demand-which I hate doing, it's rude-just for a refill. The gentleman was very nice, apologized, and immediately refilled the drink. The waitress still didn't come back to the table except to give checks and take payments. We had to help ourselves to the take home containers. This is the only time I had a less than stellar visit. Usually, the wait staff is very attentive and friendly. The owner is very nice. The food is always hot and fresh. I will be back and bring more people. Everyone I have brought so far has really enjoyed this place. Give it a try as it is family owned!!

A small place with a big heart. The food was outstanding. We had the fajitas (beef, chicken, and shrimp). It was served on skewers that were hung in a special cabinet that was brought to the table. Under each skewer was a special sauce for that particular serving. Our waitress( Rosario) was very attentive and was working hard on her English. The meal came with a unique desert that was brought to the table by the chef....see photos. Everything presented was eatable. The place was small and unassuming, but I came with an element of class that sets it above the rest

Saw this place posted on The I Love Conroe Facebook page and My wife and I decided to check it out for ourselves. Absolutely 100% the best Mexican food we have had since moving to Conroe. Everything was on point for the taste profiles. Made us think we were back in Cancun. Service was wonderful. Will absolutely be going back often.

Seriously no joke LA TAQUERÍA MEXICAN GRILL is sooooooooo good. Definitely a must try. The food is amazing and the owner and service even better. Definitely a hidden gem. The chimichurri that comes with the beef fajita will blow your mind.

Great food, great portion sizes, great service, really good prices. Just look out for the pickled onions! It's traditional, but not stated, to include pickled habanero in the pickled onions. My girlfriend was not expecting that. After a few bites she started to feel the burn, and boy did she feel the burn.
Drove by too many times before finally stopping! Staff is very friendly, and the food is deliciously authentic. Plenty of parking and very open and welcoming inside. We will definitely be back!

Our new favorite Mexican restaurant. We love that it's locally owned and one of the owners personally came out to greet us and describe some of the menu items. We each had the Street Tacos. They came out with bean soup. My wife said, "This is the first time I've ever finished the beans." Everything was very flavorful - a lot of places tend to serve bland food, these days. Even the chips and salsa were great! We'll definitely be back.Parking: The parking lot is between the plant nursery and the fire station.
