I'm a big guy, and ice cream can absolutely be my kryptonite. Marble Slab is the legitimate holder of it. Sweet cream and gummy bears almost takes me back - it's my typical, go-to order. This one has the typically great ice cream, but the times I've gone in the staff has never been more than decent, in attitude.

Worst experience I’ve had at ANY shop. Ordered ice cream and 15 minutes later asked for lids… two reasonable, in scope of job description, requests. Was sworn at multiple times, disrespected, and ultimately didn’t even receive the lids. Instead he took phone calls, made excuses, and hid in the back room instead of helping customers who weren’t mean in the slightest. 0/10 recommend to even the biggest ice cream fans. Guy with the mullet needs to be fired yesterday

Unsanitary. Person who worked there was not using gloves and did not see them wash their hands between customers. I asked for a cone and they handled everything barehanded. Also seemed a bit lethargic, very low motivation, and overall “don’t want to be here” kind of vibes from the worker.

Neither worker was wearing gloves. One of them was making a banana split with her bare hands after taking cash payments. No hand washing in between. The other girl was leaning INTO the ice cream cooler to scoop the ice cream out. A couple of the tables were dirty. Just overall didn't seem very sanitary.

We've been going here for many years. Not sure how I haven't reviewed before but here goes. This is conveniently located on the N 336 Loop in Conroe. The parking lot can be full sometimes as there are several other shops and some eateries in the same strip and surrounding area. If there is a line there will be a little bit of a wait. It takes time to get everyone else in front with the ice cream and toppings. Lots of choices, can get it in a cup, cone, bowl cone, shake. Also, UNLIMITED FREE toppings. I have never gone over 3/4 toppings so I can't speak to how true that really is . The people behind the counter are always providing good service. There is a reward system also where you can give them a phone number and earn free or discounted ice cream. The only thing I don't like is the tables are hardly ever clean. If you find a spot to sit at the few tables (there are a few outside as well) the chances of a clean table are about 20%. Otherwise, good ice cream, good service, lots of choices. I would recommend!
So I placed an order online for an ice-cream at the Conroe location around 7:25 p.m. My estimated readiness time given was 7:37 p.m. I arrived at said location at 7:35 p.m. I did not walk out of the store with my order until 7:57p.m., 20 minutes after it was suppos to have been ready. During this time 3 customers were waited on. Not 1 single greeting was uttered from either of the 2 employees on duty to anyone who entered nor was a smile offered. Both young ladies moved extremely slow. The young lady who ended up giving me my order made me wait while she slowly tried to repeatedly tear off paper from the receipt machine.after only having made one double scoop strawberry ice-cream and repeatedly scraping her neck. The other young lady only mixed add-ons 2 maybe 3 times and the just shoved all the ice-cream into its container instead of doing it in portions. She even broke a couple cones doing this and just slammed a cup on top of the ice-cream and handed it to the customers. She sneezed into her arm then reached with that same arm to get ice-cream rubbing the contaminated area of her arm against the frost and even somehow managed to touch an ice-cream bin. A couple of times this same young lady pulled her very long hair forward only to throw it back while waiting on a customer. Neither one of these young ladies bothered to wash thier hands not one single time. Because of what I saw I could not eat let alone enjoy my ice-cream and threw it away. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT THIS LOCATION!!!!

5 stars for the two young ladies that were doing their best to make ice cream for the patrons! The shakes they made looked delicious. However, I asked for a couple gift cards and they unfortunately were not properly trained to do them because neither of them had any idea how to add money to the gift card. So I have to go to Walmart to get alternate gift cards. I see this as a problem with management and the training process being inadequate for the new employees. Do the one star is on the management! Get it together!

I have never been to a marble slab before and I can say I am not missing anything except $13 in my pocket. I ordered a child's size ice cream and my husband ordered a small. The place was pretty gross. Dried ice cream on the table, walls and trash cans. This place can use a good scrubbing and the health department. It was not busy and there were 2 girls working the front counter.

I went there to get ice cream on Mothers Day, and the service was horrible and complete GARBAGE. Their was 3 young women probably still in college fooling around taking forever to make the orders. Also messed up the orders 4 times for the same person. Never going back to that Marble Slab. I will go to a different one. That place was never worth it. Take this advice, and DONT GO TO THAT LOCATION
