The double meat burger tasted like it was made in an oven. I was hoping for a BBQ flavor, but they make the burgers in a different section. On top of that, $25 for a burger, a drink, and fries is crazy.

Not that good the brisket was not that good the only good thing was the fried pickles and the potatoes in the potato salad taste like vinegar and the Mac in cheese was hard and had no flavor

Great barbecue at reasonable prices. Restaurant is maintained well. Chopped beef lean and tender. Sausage is really good. I could have just eaten an order of onion rings though. They were surprisingly delicious. I have since placed 3 takeout orders for 8 to 10 people. Sliced brisket, chopped brisket, pulled pork and sausages. All excellent. Packed well. We'll definitely use them frequently.

The ideal barbecue experience, atmosphere wise. Large dining room for any size family to enjoy. And the food is to die for!!! Even if you decide to take-out there fast, friendly service. Especially by someone named Josh that helped complete my order when a popular item had run out. My favorite, go-to bbq joint in Conroe or anywhere else for that matter. When I’m craving moist brisket, this is where I go.

After spending 7 years in Kansas City, I swore by it was the best. My first Texas BBQ experience was at McKenzie's and I was pleasantly surprised. The brisket was hands down the best I've ever had! They even give you the option to have it lean or not which I thought was cool but didn't chose that. The jalapeno sausage was amazing as well. I wish I could have tried the ribs or burnt ends but they were out (no surprise there!) I picked up an order from here earlier in the day as I was doing Uber Eats and had to go back to experience it myself, it smelled so good! Very nice touch that the man at the counter (not sure of they all do this) used his entire hand to direct me to where the silverware and BBQ sauce were instead of pointing his finger. Definitely coming back when you have ribs and burnt ends available!

We used McKenzie's to cater our wedding. The communication with the catering manager Freddie was great. They are flexible with numbers which can change drastically with caterers and changed our serving time by our request with only a few days notice. I cannot recommend them enough! Great brisket and they managed to make turkey taste AMAZING
