This place does it right. Yes it's pricey, but it's damn good. I don't come here often, but I enjoy it every time I do. The food is excellent. The service is top-notch. The atmosphere is welcoming and traditional. I really enjoy their crawfish étouffée. Their gumbo is excellent too. I'm coming back tomorrow. It was so good.

It was my first visit back to a Pappadeux location in years and it was a great experience. Our waitress Avery was very friendly and made great suggestions. I had the smoked oysters and calamari for appetizers. Avery described some of her favorites off the menu and she sold me on the redfish special, every bite was delicious. The food was on point and service even more on point. I will be back sooner than later.

The reason for this five star review is solely because of our waiter, Clayton. Clayton was friendly, kind, and ensured that we were never waiting for a refill. Clayton insured our order was correct and our food was delivered promptly. We may not have been as satisfied as we should have been with our food, however, the experience from Clayton as our waiter made up for the subpar food and cold queso. Clayton was very attentive and ensured we were satisfied. We had gift cards so we had to go but thank you CLAYTON for making out experience that much more memorable! You Rock!

Typically, I would give this location a 5 star. However, on this day, they fell short. 1st: I was told I could not make a reservation because they were packed until after 9 PM however, after arriving an hour earlier than what I needed to be there-the restaurant was basically empty and remained sparse 40-50% empty up until the point that we left around 7pm. Service was slow, (considering how empty they were) and one person’s order did not come until after everyone was done eating. Nothing other than “I’m sorry” was said or done. Disappointed - it was my son’s birthday and this was not the service we anticipated that based on past visits.
Every friend or family that comes to visit, this is a must take them to place. Best seafood !! And they changed their menu look as well as how they server dress which is nice. The crab fingers is a must !!!!
