Ruchi’s Indian Cuisine in Conroe is a very small, authentic hole-in-the-wall neighborhood restaurant, highly valued by the local Indian population. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a fantastic, incredible tsunami of spices. The food is generally described as amazing, delicious, flavorful, authentic, and made fresh. Specific standout dishes include the butter chicken, called some of the best and out of this world, the goat pepper roast, and the delicious, flavorful tandoori chicken and curry. The fresh garlic naan, butter naan, and cheese naan are also praised, though the garlic naan could do without cilantro. The samosas are delicious but a bit spicy.

Some dishes receive mixed notes; the chicken biryani was found to be fairly bland and oddly oily, though helped by its included sauces, and some feel it should have more meat for the price. The soup options are not recommended, tasting like thinned Campbell's soups.
