The staff is absolutely rude! I didn’t catch their names but on 02.19.21 at about 2045 my boyfriend and I came to El Rey for the first time. My boyfriend forgot to put on his mask and when one of the workers asked him to put on his mask, my boyfriend didn’t argue or anything, he put it on. So we were looking at the menu (it was our FIRST time there). The workers grew impatient and started literally talking bad about us. The called the person that was behind us to come order and funny enough that guy wasn’t even ready. They then started to snicker and my boyfriend asked them to stop being rude. One walked away and I had enough so I decided to leave and told them we wouldn’t be doing business there anymore. They didn’t care. Management should be ashamed to have such disrespectful infant staff there. We will not be coming back. You can come here if you don’t mind being treated poorly for no reason other than this place hires complete trash.

I went by on a Monday morning to try their breakfast Togo. I was indecisive as to which breakfast taco I should try. When I asked the guy behind the counter about the size of the tacos, he suggested that I should get the El Rey Breakfast Burrito (egg, bacon, potato, refried beans & cheese) instead. It turned out to be a great suggestion. I will be back.
