Mr. John was amazing! The brisket cooked perfect and juicy. I like The Shed in Mississippi but was told they are not affiliated. This The Shed is very good too! Only recommendation would be use Wickle Pickles for pickles, okra, and jalapeño.

Great food and the owner was super nice. The brisket was very tasty and you got a lot. Same with the fries. The BBQ sauce and fry sauce was great. Just an FYI, it is a food truck with only 2 picnic tables so seating may be tight during busy times. Also it is by a busy intersection with lots of big trucks driving by so it can be noisy.

I was having a large crawfish boil on Saturday and I needed some BBQ to go with it. I emailed John and he said he could help out. The brisket he made was AMAZING! Our guests devoured it like a pack of rabid coyotes! I'm just glad I got a few bites before it was gone!
The other thing I want to mention is that John only asked for a 50% deposit. I told him I'd swing over to his food truck the next day and pay it all up front. I stopped by and paid cash, we shook hands on it, and John delivered on his end of the bargain, exactly on time. That's the way this world should be....when a man's handshake is his word.
Oh, did I mention that his BBQ sauce was probably some of the best BBQ sauce I've ever tasted? Totally on point!
