Came here with my family, 7 of us. It's a small place so we had to wait to be seated. More suitable for small parties. Very friendly & casual staff, service was excellent. We ordered breakfast (eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, biscuits & sausage gravy, pancakes). Everyone was satisfied with their food. Biscuits were especially good. Prices were really good. Spent about $150 for all of us. We'd definitely go again.

I really liked eating at this place. Been there many times. Food was good, service was good. But it has all changed. Went yesterday for a late lunch. The place was dirty, food on the floor. We were told to just pic a spot. No booths available. Just dirty tables. The girl waiting on us had an attitude. We asked if she could clean the table. It was still funky after she was through and i wiped it down myself. Got our food and my order was messed up. Then i was really not happy when we had no silverware and she came back just holding our silverware, not in a napkin or anything! Had to stand up and wave at her to get tea refills. I dont know what happend to the workers they had, but they need to call them back. Will not return again.

The Whistle Stop Cafe is one of my absolute go-to spots for lunch or dinner. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by some of the friendliest and most helpful staff you’ll ever meet — they really make you feel at home. The food is consistently delicious, with that comforting, home-style cooking that truly warms the soul. A few of my all-time favorites: the loaded baked potato (massive and packed with flavor), grilled shrimp, and the fried okra, which is a must-have every single visit. Don’t even get me started on dessert — the banana pudding is heavenly, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of their pies. Keep an eye out for their daily specials, too — especially the all-you-can-eat fried catfish! This place is a true town favorite, and for good reason. Highly recommend!
