The brisket was good. Not great but good. And that is saying a lot coming from me. I am a bit of a BBQ snob. Brisket is the top of the bbq accomplishments. And True Texas Bbq at HEB on 242 does a good job. Like I said, not great but a solid brisket.... and when considering the price. It comes close to great. The ribs are good, but ribs are easy. I have to say, True Texas BBQ really knocked it out of the park! It’s tucked right inside H-E-B, which makes it super convenient, but don’t let that fool you—this is the real deal when it comes to Texas barbecue. BBQ will always be pricey but this place is cheaper than any joint I every been too.

I am not from this area but I came across this heb and it was worth my time. Michelle was super kind and patient with me as I had no idea what to get. The food was delicious. Loved the banana pudding! Will be back for more!!!
