We used Vernele’s for our special wedding day.
The cake was beautiful and delicious but a little flimsy.
That was probably our only complaint. We had to do the cake tasting way before the wedding started.

Vernele's was so easy to work with to consult over the phone about a cake I wanted designed for my sister's baby shower. They were able to get the cake made with under a month's notice, and they did the most beautiful job. The cake was definitely a main centerpiece for the shower and it tasted delicious!

My husband and I elected to do a small cake just for us to cut, but had a hard time finding a bakery that could help us out without us having to be present (dual military from Texas, currently living in Alaska, planned a wedding in Texas) Vernele's was incredibly responsive, answered all our questions, and delivered on time! AND their white chocolate cake was SO good!

I ordered a wedding cake through Vernele's for my wedding this past week. There was a mishap with the order form, and my order never ended up getting properly filed due to a disgruntled past employee. Things happen, and I understand that. What made the difference was Shelby went out of her way and made sure that we got a cake in a very short amount of time (about 10 minutes). The cake itself was delicious. I still wish that I could've gotten to try the apple pie flavor, but there's always other celebrations. The cakes here are great so definitely give them a shot! I would give 5 stars but the unfortunate circumstance led to the 4 star.

Is this still here?Went to find it, didnt seem to be where the address was....?Why would I try and call if the place looked closed? Nice attitude BTW, why not say your sorry for the inconvenience. You cant even update the online presence so people wont waste their time. Sounds like you have an attitude problem. Good luck with the bakery

I had the great pleasure of joining these talented ladies for a tasting of their cakes and WOW! Each bite was better than the one before. Amazing flavor combos, very professional quality and above all super responsive. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Met here for a gal pal lunch and to check out the downtown shops. Great salads and soups and loved the ice cream afterwards.

We order a cake from them and was pretty disappointed the cake was dry, hard and wasn’t worth what we paid. We ended up throwing it away due to its taste

Delicious and beautiful custom cake with hands down customer service. I had a custom cake request with just 3 days notice. I was very anxious and was not sure if I can get the cake I wanted within that time frame. They were quick to respond, answered all my questions and were generous enough to take the order on such small notice. The cake was EXACTLY what I ordered. It was indeed a very nice experience working with them.

My husband and I used Vernele's Bakery for our wedding day and had such a wonderful experience! For starters, we had the opportunity to do a cake tasting which was delicious and memorable. As coffee fanatics, my husband and I fell in love with Vernele's espresso cake covered in dulce de leche icing with extra espresso. 10/10! Not to mention, this bakery was prompt and professional on our wedding day. Highly recommend!
