UPDATE: Although Marco's Pizza offered a gracious response to this and other previous reviews, they advise people to follow-up with them through social media when that is actually NOT possible. There is no messaging interface on the location's FB page, and their corporate Twitter account has not been active since 2022. More insult and rip-off to their customers by hiding through Kafkaesque bureaucracy.ORIGINAL REVIEW:DO *NOT* BOTHER WITH THIS LOCATION.Placed my order in advance for pickup. Arrived at the "promised" time. Was told it wasn't ready and I'd have to wait.Then when the pizza was ready the salad wasn't. More wait. And no offer of at least a soda while I waited despite the mounting inconveniences.They tell me it's all ready and then when I inspect the salad it's the WRONG SALAD. Oh--the delivery driver took the wrong salad. ??‍♀️At this point I ask for the manager (aka adult in charge), give her the rundown and tell her I'd rather get a full brefund and go to the Marco's on Pat Booker (which had yet to screw up my orders).The manager promises to make it right, makes me a fresh salad, and says that I would also be fully brefunded and credited on the app account from which I placed my order.My pizza was cold by the time I got home and I never got the credit on the app.If anyone at corporate is paying attention, this order occurred on 12/18/23 at 5:26pm, order# 183, transaction# 118704376.

To the Reader, this is a 2-part review of Marco's Pizza, from 2 separated visits. March 19, around 6:42pm, my girlfriend & I had a quick dinner at Marco's Pizza located at 7215 Loop 1604 E. in Converse. At this point you might ask, why am I being so specific about time and location. The answer is this; one, other locations will most likely give customers' a completely different experience and two, my girlfriend had lunch at this same location before and said the food was way better then. Unfortunately, her tummy was not so pleased after the dinner. At this particular time & place, it appeared half of the local High School was working at the restaurant. Music was a bit loud which might have played a roll in why while waiting for our Dine-In order, we were asked 3-times what name our order was under? I ordered a Meat Lovers Calzone and my girlfriend ordered a large Meat Pizza. Ŵe also got (2) 18oz Sweet Teas however, one of the Sweet Teas was rung up as a 1/2 Gallon Unsweetened Tea. Yes, there is a difference in price which might also be the reason our bill was over $35. The Calzone was okay but the pizza had so much grease, it was dripping off the end of the crust. My girlfriend believes this is what made her tummy so angry. BTW - she ate only 1 slices and took the rest home for her grandson. I can't say I recommend Marco's on 1604 but, if you do go, make certain it's during a weekday for lunch when the adults are working there. As always - Eat in Good Health Second visit to Marco's Pizza on 1604. (April 13, about 6:00pm). I don't understand why Marco's Pizza is so popular? I came in for a second time in hopes things may have improved from the first time I was here, sadly, things haven't. I placed my order for take out and after paying, the bushy haired teen said "have a nice day" as if I was leaving. I told him I'd wait at a table. 20-minutes later, another kid asked what my name is on in the order (shades of my last experience)). They searched and could not find the order. I was asked a second time what my name was, I again told him & said I ordered Cheesy Bread & a XL Deluxe, he replied "XL Donuts"? I showed him the receipt, turns out the order taker entered the name "Jacob", because Jacob sounds so much like David. Get home, and while the pizza was fine (not great) - just fine) the Cheesy Bread had next to no Cheese on it. I ended up throwing the Bread out. Marco's is 0 & 2 with me. As far as I'm concerned, they've already stuck out. As always - Eat in Good Health.

I didn't want to nit pick, and it's not only this location, but for some reason every Marcos, when they make the pizza bowls, the juices always come out and spill around the box with delivery. So the boxes are always messy and oily. The food is still delicious and in the cooking tray they make it in, but i think the company needs to rework the design of those, or add a lid. Thats my only suggestion.

Called in 2 pepperoni pizzas an hour ago still are not ready!!! And when asking why everyone else is getting there stuff when they ordered 30min ago walking in all the employees had to say was im not too sure sorry… isnt the whole point of calling in instead of just walking in is so you’re food is ready when you get there?! SO annoying.

I’ve came here twice. In a span of 2 months. I don’t know if I just have bad luck but the last two times they lose my order. I wait 30 mins patiently. I go to pick up my order and they tell me they’ve lost it. Something about a technical error. Unbelievable. I talk to the manager and apologized to me but just tells me it’s gonna be another 30 mins!!!! not a good way to take care of customers. Pizza is great through. I will just find another location unfortunately.

Great job Sunday afternoon. They were super busy but everyone seemed to be pulling their weight. There was a team member or so that seemed to be struggling but I got my food within the time I expected it.

The restaurant is really clean and well maintained. The employees are very friendly and friendly. The manager was very friendly and came and checked on us to make sure our food was correct and that it was tasty. I'm planning to keep going here.

I called to place an order using a coupon we just received in the mail. When the salesperson said the code was not valid, I got frustrated. She put her assistant manager, Katelyn, on the phone. Katelyn immediately started offering various options, saving us as much as the coupon would have. She was patient and helpful and had wonderful customer service! Thank you, Katelyn, for going out of your way to make sure we were very satisfied customers! We've purchased from here for a long time and will certainly continue for a long time to come!!

Came in last night to give this place another try and wow have things changed idk if it’s new management mind you I came in about 6 months ago but the manager was very helpful and made me sure things would get out right and fast the pizza was absolutely delicious and will definitely picking this as our go to
