First time visiting... decided to grab the spaghetti dinner, a cold sub & cheesecake (to go)! Everything was DELICIOUS!!! So grateful to have spotted this GEM! Definitely returning to a new favorite spot!

My goto place to indulge my tastebuds. I love the lasagna. It's got alot of wonderfully seasoned ricotta. I enjoy it as is, but to make it a cosmic experience, order a couple of Italian sausages to slice into it.

Papa Dante's is a very cute restaurant with delicious food and atmosphere to match. We stumbled upon this establishment as we were in the area, and we craved Italian. Just about every single square inch of wall space (and ceiling) is covered with nostalgic pictures of movie stars and celebrities.

The food was great and out in a timely manner. The service was equally great, and everyone was super nice & accommodating. They have a little gift shop and the desserts are also very good.

Highly recommend taking a trip down memory lane to Papa Dante!

I'm visiting San Antonio, and Papa Dante's came highly recommended. I was surprised that they closed at 6 pm on Saturday night, so I decided to order a meal for pickup. The order was ready when I arrived and was well packaged. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was good, although I would have liked a but more flavor. I also ordered the crab cake, which was delicious.

The baked zitis was the worst I've ever tasted they were mushy and not al dente. In fact, the garbage disposal loved it

If you wish to send your taste buds on a journey across an ocean of culinary bliss, go to Papa Dante’s! My favorite off the menu is the Mickey Mantle sub, piled high with fresh ingredients and reasonably priced. The ambience is awesome too, almost like enjoying a meal in a museum. A meal here will inundate your mind with such force, you will explode into the atmosphere. Yeah that’s hyperbole, but it’s true.
