I love the smell of tamales in the morning. They smell like victory.
Mr. Chris Gonzales puts the “P” in professionalism.
I found these little gem earlier this year. I have been trying to go back in moderation. The tamales are delicious and well-made the green salsa that you must ask for makes the experience complete. The portions are consistent and so is the quality. Their Menudo it’s also up there with some of the best I’ve had. The tamales make an excellent breakfast option for my children in the mornings.

So good! Picked up 2 dozen at garden ridge market days
Brought a friend here from Florida. Tried the tamales. She had me bring 2 dozen when I went to see her! The breakfast tacos. Everyone I’ve taken there LOVES them!
Great tamales, friendly service.
Big tacos, lovely owners
We had a couple of tacos from there and they were great and very affordable the papa ranchera had just the right amount of heat. And the owner is very kind and friendly.
Chris is honestly super kind! You can tell they love what they do through the flavor of their food! Truly a hidden gem
Chris the food wasn’t good, it was great. You can tell why the business been open for 30 years plus. Chris sold me the last 3 Dozen and it was perfect right before Christmas, saved 2 ate one and boy did the not disappoint. They are defiantly as good as Delia’s even better since Delia’s does not know how to run/operate a proper business especially considering holidays with pre order only options.

So far, good tasting tamales in the area. You rarely come across good tamales, this place is one of em. There's no dinning area or seating, it's take out only, FYI. tamales are a good size. Barbacoa tasted reheated, not fresh.

The place is very simple, the service is incredible and the food is delicious.
I would return for barbecue and Menudo (to take away)
The sauces are not spicy and the Menudo does not give you any chili or cilantro.
First time trying tamales with chili and the truth is that they were very good.
We took the photos almost at the end, we were already a little hungry.
