This place used to be good with snacks and treats. Lately whenever I come, they are out of nachos, mangonadas, or whatever it is I am craving.

First time trying due to McDonalds being crowded and my god were we good in choosing this place for breakfast. First things first the tacos are huge, second the cheese they used is amazing and melts soooooo good. The salsa tasted fresh and had so much flavor. We plan on coming back more and more, I would have taken pictures but it was gone as soon as we got the tacos. This place is a hidden gem in converse def recommend to anyone wanting a good taco to start the day.

Saturday they messed up just one taco. This was the third time they’ve done that. I brushed it off until Saturday and I couldn’t make it back to get it replaced and this was verbalized to them, when I called at 10:30am they kept me on hold for abt 15min, by that time I had gone to my daughter’s bday and let it go. Today: Thursday aug 15, I came and told them about it. The girl said,” I’ll give u a free sweet tea but not that taco “ I told her well they wanted me to come back, but they never came back on the phone. I told her,” I couldn’t go. I don’t want the tea. I want the taco.” She agreed to make it as it was supposed to be (egg, cheese and bacon on corn) originally on Saturday they gave me egg and bacon on flour. Today they gave me egg with bean on corn. Seriously?! At least she’s polite bc theres another lady who is always huffing and puffing and really tries to be polite I guess, but u can see she’s not used to being that way. I won’t be back again.

Food was overly salty for my taste. The puffy shredded chicken tacos are super greasy, and the chicken tasted as if from a can. It's not the same food or possibly the same cooks from before. Plus, no more agua frescas. The rice was mush. I won't be back. It's not good food to me. I went through the drive through, they took about 15 minutes to get me my food. They were not very busy to take so long... no pictures. I threw some of it away. I don't know what it's atmosphere is like because I drove up thru their drive-through. They were friendly enough. It's just not my kind of mexican food.

Used the drive thru and tried to order a burrito. Was told they were not able to make them now, so I got a torta and some nachos. They made the nachos to order with only the items I wanted on it. It was good. The steak was a little bit tough, but the flavor was on point. I do wish it was a cheese sauce and not just melted shredded cheese, but it was still very tasty. The torta was amazing. It's huge, and the asada was melt in your mouth, to die for. Loved this and didn't miss the burrito at all, lol. The woman who took care of me was so sweet and attentive. I'll be stopping there more often to try more items.

We walked in, and the ladies greeted us with the sweetest, brightest smiles I’ve ever seen in a restaurant, like we were family. They recommended El pastor and carne asada, and both were amazing, probably some of the best tacos we’ve had in San Antonio. The mangonada was fantastic.

Asked for large Fresas con crema for $8 and got table cream with stawberry and oreos! Their aguas were good though.

You guys, this place is awesome. They make everything fresh even the chili fruit cups from fresh fruit. They made me an amazing corn in a cup. That was super delicious. Now I’m excited about these fruit cups that are being chopped up right in front of me.
