I didn't go into the 78. I was eating at the Chinese restaurant next door. It was delicious. I can't remember the name of it. What I ate was awesome. Oh...and they have Big Red.
Always a good time here and the people make it better. Great drinks as well!

This place use to be a good place to hang out listen to good music now it's a ghost town. I remember the parking lot use to be full no where to park now you can park wherever now.. come on uptown what is going on a nice place but no ppl come here no more.
70s party and I won best dressed! we even had a soul train line going ??Uptown 78 is always a good time. Great energy and good drinks. There's even karaoke on Thursdays and an open mic event called Poetry in Motion every second Wednesday.

It seems like the powers that be aren't trying to draw in patrons...I think the bar is running itself without any thought. I hope the owners step it up. I'd hate to see it be the next thing on the strip that gets replaced.

First time here and poetry night is amazing. Felicia got out and presented!!!!! I would encourage anyone who has something to say come on out. Every second Wednesday!!! You will not regret it!!!
Had a blast with my girls last night at the boots and blazer party hosted by a close friend Toy( aka Toy Box Ent) she did her big one.. Shout out to Uptown, the place was a vibe. As long as Toy is hosting there, you’ll see me.. Those who want to chill and vibe check it out! The DJ did his big one also! ??
