my family and I love H&E ! We’ve brought family from all over to eat here and enjoy the nice and lowkey atmosphere. We love how they are expanding, & bringing life back to copperas cove. Ms. Connie has been our waitress consistently for over a year and takes very good care of our family & always has a great attitude. Thanks ms Connie for the great service !! You’re the best !!

one of the best things about cove ! The owners are so active in the restaurant and it’s refreshing to see them and our favorite waitress ms Connie ! Shes helpful, knows our orders by heart and loves our kiddos. she has definitely become apart of the family and one of the many reasons we keep coming back. Prices are more than reasonable, kid friendly, clean and family oriented environment. Thanks for bringing back life to cove H&E !

It was our first time at Herb and Ernie’s Diner, and we really enjoyed it! I’m super picky about cleanliness, and the place was immaculate, seriously one of the cleanest diners I’ve ever been in. I had the Jäger Schnitzel with red cabbage and cucumber salad, and everything was delicious. The schnitzel was cooked perfectly, the gravy was flavorful, and the sides were fresh. The owner is a former public school educator and makes it easy to be able to support their small business. Great experience overall, this will be a new staple for our family!

Herb and Earnie’s Family Diner is a great little spot in a quiet town. The menu was impressive and extremely tasty. A mix of diner and German food that did not disappoint! It is definitely worth a visit and I will be going back again!

Awesome place food and service was amazing

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning.

I love this place! It's a hidden gem in Copperas Cove. We had breakfast. It didn't show up as a recommendation, but the hash brown casserole was excellent. The decor was stop cool and nostalgic. They even had a little gift shop with a little bit of everything. We will come back again when we visit our friends.

We were literally the only customers in the restaurant but the food and service were great. We got pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon and French toast with bananas and strawberries. All of which were cooked perfectly

I picked up an order for myself and family today. It was our first time trying it. Food was freshly made. Rating 3 out of 5 because it was average as far as taste and everything. Friendly staff.

We loved the food and atmosphere of this ace. It is a hidden gem. I loved how they had a little paper of events going g on in the community. The staff was very nice. The place was clean and food was great customer service We will come back to visit again.

Ordrred the chicken fried steak, and it tasted like tilapia.

That's my only negative about this place.

The gravy was good, and the hush puppies were great!

The customer service was great and the service was prompt.

Can't ask for much more in the area.

Will definitely be back.

Cutest little diner! Food was excellent. Service was top notch. We ate breakfast there and will be eating there again.
