I ate dinner there for first time Saturday night. The Chicken Fried Steak was one on the best I have ever eaten. The mash potatoes, corn, green beans, and Brownie were all Granny Cooking good. The people were so nice it was like being at Granny’s house. That gravy just doesn’t happen, that’s old school.
Mixed - we don't eat out much.. friendly atmosphere, but too many flies, maybe not their fault but it was like a competition as I tried to eat! I'm about to try again, it's Fall and cool outside so maybe flies are gone. The food is good. The prices are fair.
So since the first time I've come last year I've become addicted to the chili. I will come Everytime saying I'm going to try something different, spend about 5 minutes looking at the menu only to order the chili. My boyfriend and I have come on Saturday the day after they do their all you can eat catfish and offer the catfish it's delicious. Good is great.
