I was actually there last year 2022 in June, drove from Phoenix, AZ., to visit families in Texas and it was a comfort for me as I experience a island style feeling once I walked through the door. Great establishment for local Chamoru's. Si Yuus Ma'asi ???????

If you want to be adventurous and have never had chamorro food, this is a great place to start. Staff was friendly and attentive, food was delicious. We went in for the “Biba Mes Chamorro” (Hooray Chamorro month) special which was posted on Facebook. It consisted of a Chamorro fiesta plate complete with red Rice, barbecue chicken, grilled knockwurst, coconut crust fried shrimp, potato salad and finadene sauce used to dip or to spoon over your meal. Side dish was Chamorro corn soup made with a coconut milk broth, corn and chicken pieces yum! The food was so delicious, I ordered three to go plates of the same thing I ate and brought it home for my family to try. They loved it too. This food brought me back home for the moment I was there dining. That says a lot.The only thing I would say, is come in when you have time to sit and wait or call in your order. These dishes are not easily ready so it’ll take time to get your order.I first tried this place when it first opened and was very harsh with my thoughts. Not putting into account they were finding their way and working out a style of serving or a menu at the time. I was severely disappointed on my first trip and hadn’t returned until a friend brought me back for a weekday lunch. I’m glad he did. Lots of improvements were made and now dishes are made to order. The owner is the sweetest lady with a genuine heart and lovely lovely smile. I will definitely be back to eat here again and again.Disclaimer: I am Chamorro, and am a very picky person when it comes to these dishes. My point of view I’m giving today is based on how I would feel trying something I have never had before. The fact that there are no other stand alone chamorro restaurants consistently serving meals on a regular schedule in this area, makes me an admirer and loyal to this restaurant.

There food is really good however it takes a bit for it to cook, so while you wait you can play Ms. Pac-Man to wait. Along with that the service is really good and they are really nice.

I was so excited to finally see an Island restaurant here in Cove. Unfortunately that excitement quickly turned to disappointment as we tried the food for the first time. The food was not heated to proper temp, the food tasted like it was cooked early in the morning and left in a warmer all day. The meat was dry and the rice was a very poor representation of what red rice is supposed to be. It seems like they reheat whatever wasn't sold the day prior, at least that's the only way I feel can explain the dryness an lack of fresh flavor in this food. I really really hope this restaurant improves and starts to make their food fresh and maybe even made to order. I hate seeing the islands being represented in this way. Please do better guys, I really want to see you succeed.

The menus options are an excellent value. The dining experience overall is very island welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant. One way to feel more like home (GUAM)

The one place where I feel at home because home is too far. The staff and everyone is amazing makes it feel like Guam. The food is ever good. Always great and made fresh I would best recommend. The energy that’s comes off all employees there just brightens the day better and better. I love the restaurant and will always be going there most of the week. Everyday the menu changes for something new never serving the same dash. Wish to see them open up more chains down the line.
