There are some great dives out there, but sadly, this isn't one of them.The staff was very helpful, and kind.The atmosphere was lacking, and try not to use the restrooms if you can help it.The food was... kind of meh. An odd taste in the chicken lo mein. The general tso was ok, not very spicy. The steamed rice was dried to a crisp, and the vegetables used as garnish were raw and cold. The egg rolls were all dough and cabbage, very little meat.I wish I could give a better...
The service I felt was very kind , hospitable, and fast. The woman at the desk and the one server I did see seemed sweet. It's an old town so the place is quiet. Nothing fancy. Could use some upkeep and a little renovation. The portions are not large but not small. Just in between. So if you are used to, let's say, Huntsville China Buffet, then you will be disappointed. For how much you pay, you would want more, but remember, this is a small town and may be family owned....
