My wife & I went here because of all the hype and it 100% stood up to the hype. We purchased a variety of items such as the Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, Etoufee, Shrimp, Corn, Potatoes, Sausage, Snow Crab, and yes Crawfish. The food is excellant. We went during a weekday when it opened but rumor has it this place gets packed and there is a wait and to me it would be well worth the wait. With that being said, on a weekday and being there at opening time, (we were early to wait in line if we had to) when we left an hour later the place was about half full of happy hungry folks. Now the drive thru had a line as well and it moved fairly quickly. The service was wonderful and the wait time on food was quick. Hands down if you want some awesome food try it out. The cup of gumbo, red beans & rice, and etouffee come in cups that other places would call bowls. You cannot go wrong eating here. Out of all the places I have eaten crawfish, this place tops it by far. This is also a BYOB establishment, NOT a go get drunk and party place so be respectful of the others enjoying friends, family, & a good time as well as the workers and community. There is paid police security on site as well. I don't drink however had a great time with my wife and had no issues. Our waitress was awesome and extremely helpful. We will for sure be making the short drive again to eat here and have a great time.

The Crawfish Shack has the best crawfish in the HOUSTON area, in my opinion. As well as others the will wait in the drive up line for hours to get their portions of the delicious goodness. I’m not for the long lines but I’ll wait a little bit for my share.

I frequently stop at the Crawfish Shack and get several pounds of crawfish to go. They are always hot and super yummy as well as being very large. Although there may be a little wait time, I highly recommend them during crawfish season!

Went somewhere NEW to my knowledge.. and had a good ole good time!!! The service was outstanding and the crawfish was DELICIOUS!!! So if you're driving through or vising or don't mind the drive along a very scenic route which is down the way from Banana Beach. I say head there with friends or family and have a couple of the biggest " mudbugs " I'd ever seen!!! GOOD EATEN !!!!

My first crawfish boil, and it was excellent. Place is BYOB for alcoholic drinks, softies are sold onsite. Place gets quite noisy when the shutters are down and it attracts a fair cross-section of the community. There are other crawfish places nearby, but they appeared to be quiet which tells me all I need to know.

Great crawfish in an casual family style atmosphere. Only one flavor seasoning but, it is great! No beer served but that is a plus everyone brings their own which makes for a picnic atmosphere. I would recommend making the drive out to Crosby just adjust your schedule not to be there in peak dinner hours unless you are prepared to wait.

My very 1st time and VERY LAST TIME! I saw a few friends inside and spoke to them. The lady, who presented herself as the owner, accosted me , accusing me of sitting her tables! She was standing over me as I was still sitting down...when I put my hands up because she was in my personal space, she said I was being rude by putting my hands up! When I explained to her that she was in my personal space, accusing me and assuming I did something wrong, she continued to stay there insisting I'd told someone to sit down at a table for someone else. She was rude, offensive, and her attitude and approach was very inappropriate! Had she ASKED me instead of assuming, while towering over me, it would not have escalated to where it was headed. She only wanted to make me aware that SHE was the owner! When I offered to show her the text message where I told my friends to put their names on the list for a table, she said they'd shown her the text messages already.... SOOOOOOO, now I'm wondering why the hell she's still standing over me and accusing me of sitting her tables?!?!?! Especially if she's acknowledged that my friends showed her the text messages already where I told them how the process worked of putting their names on the list! Asked my friends if she said anything to them, and she had not approached them! Only me! I can't believe I drove from Katy, TX to this establishment, only to be humiliated and offended...by the what presented herself as the owner! She doesn't care about losing customers, and I don't mind spending my money at another establishment that knows how to treat their customers with fairness and mutual respect. Everyone in close vicinity witnessed this interaction, and I felt so embarrassed! NEVER AGAIN! I guess she had something to prove, and wanted to flex her ownership muscles for her staff...sad, sad, sad!!! (Petty Penny) Smh!!! The people I know that recommended this place, mainly go because of the BYOB benefit, not the quality of the food! I am SOOOOOOOO disappointed at the way the owner responds to negative reviews and comments! May God bless her (Jen) , and I pray that others see her for the nasty character and demeanor she possesses! She created a situation, then puffed her chest out stating she's the owner! It's not just about losing a customer for speaking the TRUTH and exposing their negative experiences at your establishment, it's speaks volumes about how character, morals, values, and common decency takes an exit whenever YOU have wronged a customer and that customer makes you aware of your actions! The day will come when Jennifer will have to answer for her bias and negative ways! God bless YOU, Jennifer Meaux!
