Ordered the boiled crawfish. It had a little spice to it but they were so salty that is all you could really taste. Luke warm when they finally got to the table. The fried shrimp had no flavor the batter was not good. The chicken strips had no flavor either. Just bland. And over cooked. Would not recommend or return. Went to this place a few years ago and it was good, don't know what happened but it sure isn't anymore.

I went to John E's for the first time to meet some family members and I didn't order any food since I have just ate but I did ask for a glass of water and since I didn't order any food I had to ask for a glass of water 4 diffrent time and the 4 times ive ask the waiter asked if i was going to order anything and I kept replying no I just want a glass of water and I still didn't get one until my sister had to ask the waiter to get her some water and guess what she got it right away since she did order food, not very professional in my opinion.

The restaurant was nice and clean. The atmosphere was good. Our server was nice and friendly but the food was not it for me or my husband. I had the seafood trio with medium spice but there was no flavor. It just left a not so good taste in my mouth. My husband had the seafood platter and he was not thrilled either. It says it comes with 4 pieces of fish but they are the size of fish nuggets. Look like they belong in a kids meal. The stuffed Crab was not fully cooked. But what helped them is the boudain balls. Now they were delicious. I'd go back for them. Oh and the fries were pretty good.

The hostess told us that since we were 9 people we couldn’t eat here because they cannot sit more than 8 people and they could not split us or split the check we were going to put it all in one ticket but since we were 9 it was impossible to sit us they rather loose over 300 dollars of business it was our first time here and we drove all the way from Katy because we heard it was good. Needless to say the food may be good but the customer service was horrible we went on Good Friday at 7 pmManager did not want to see us

We went from eating there twice a week during crawfish season to I will not spend another dime in there. The hostess had a horrible attitude because we asked for a booth and she had to clean it. Then our waitress was even worse. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks. She brought people that came in after us their food while we still waited. Our cheese sticks were cold when she finally decided to bring them to us. We have never walked out of a restaurant, but after waiting over an hour and not even being able to get a refill I asked for our check, and to speak to the manager. He took the cheese sticks off. What a joke. Then the waitress and hostess proceeded to wish us a wonderful evening and laughed as we were leaving. I guess they thought that was cute. We've lived in crosby for almost 10 years. Never once went to crawfish shack. Have always eaten here instead. Really disappointed in how the treat their customers now. I guess now I see why so many others go to crawfish shack.

We have always enjoyed bringing family here, until today. TERRIBLE night to bring the family. Half the place was a "private" party with a DJ that should have been held at a bar. The music was extremely loud. Many paying customers were furious about the load music. You couldn't even hear the person sitting next to you. I can't believe how inconsiderate the place was to the families trying to enjoy a nice dinner. Maybe the party should have been held outside instead of paying customers having to take their food home or outside.

The wait staff is rude and on this particular day, we waited for 30 minutes before anyone approached us ‼️ ALL I kept hearing once someone went to get someone, is I'm SORRY!!! This place is not it, EVER ‼️‼️Parking: TOO SLOWWWW & RUDE‼️‼️
