I ordered A LOT of food, as I have a big family to feed. I cannot rate the food just yet since I have not eaten at the moment, but it was delicious during my previous visit.I am writing this review to commend the staff, as there was a gentleman and a young lady working during my visit. They were both extremely welcoming, professional, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant was very clean, but empty, although I happened to come in before dinner time, so I’m sure that’s why it was empty.Based on the service alone, I will definitely be back. For those who are giving horrible reviews based off one bad experience, shame on you! Sometimes people and places just have a bad day, no matter how hard they try not to.You can’t go wrong with this restaurant if you’re looking for a great bbq place to try.***Edited to add - As I was leaving with the food I ordered, the restaurant began filling up with customers, so the empty feeling was very short lived.Parking: I did have trouble finding a parking place. There were 3 trucks parked in front and the only parking left available was Handicapped Parking. Unless there is additional parking in the back, parking is minimal.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is kid-friendly and offers meals made especially for children. They also have high chairs and booster seats readily available, if needed when dining in.Wheelchair accessibility: There are 2 handicapped parking spaces available, but they are are not as close to the door as they could be.
I went in with my buddies for some good Texas barbecue and this place did a fantastic job.

This was one of the worst representations of Texas BBQ I have ever eaten in my life. The brisket was dry, the sausage tasted like it was boiled and it turned to mush in my mouth. The ribs were absolutely disgusting, the potato salad was blended like a smoothie. The baked beans tasted like they were straight from the dollar store. Maybe they were just having a bad day. I hope they can do better. I'm not a food expert, but damn that was bad food today. Get someone in there that actually knows how Texas BBQ should be done.

So we decided to go to another place. Thank God they're not the only ones.They say "support local" businesses, well we try.

First time and last time coming here. I didn’t make it past the order counter because of how obnoxious and rude the cashier was. She had a messy bun, grey shirt, blonde, and was working the evening shift on 02.17.2024. Me and my mom walked in and after looking at the menu and having our minds made up, the lady was taking her sweet time talking about her life “problems” with the customers for about 8 minutes. We were looking at her to try to get her attention but she was clearly ignoring us on purpose. We walked out and found a better restaurant. I personally believe she is racist. What bothers me is that she is probably type of person to yell at minimum wage fast food workers for not having her kid’s happy meal ready in under 3 minutes and then treat her own customers far worse. I felt the entitlement. Other reviews seem to agree. Just ignore the place. There is better food out there.

I ordered 2 meat plate (Ribs and Moist Brisket) with a side of mashed potatoes and white gravy and green beans. The meat portions are very generous!! The brisket was fall apart tender and very savory! The BBQ sauce at the table was delicious as well. The ribs were a dry rub but were very tender. They needed a little more seasoning but they had a lot of great smoke flavor. The mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned and the gravy was great. The green beans were just ok. Great Texas smokehouse atmosphere with plenty of room to sit comfortably. Would come back! Sad I never came here when I lived in Crosby years back!
Arrived a few mins before closing, which is something we don't usually do, so we were going to take our food to go but the lady behind the counter was so sweet and had no problem letting us sit down to eat. That spoke volumes to me. The food came out pretty quick. Was hot, fresh and delicious. I recommend the stuffed baked potato. There's nothing like a small hometown business that is successful. ?? I'll be back for sure.

Excellent BBQ. We ordered their holiday smoked turkey and brisket for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Every time it was delicious. Huge portions on their regular menu too. Be ready to take home a box.
Service was great, restaurant was very clean an appealing really liked the deer heads with the Santa hats (cute). I had the chop beef sandwich which was good just a lil on the dry side an the Fry's I had looked like it was the last or bottom of the bag n I got shisted on those other then that good place an I'll be going back to give it another try
