Place was horrible. I never seen wonton soup with curry in there. Service was also terrible. Staff was rude. I would never recommend it to anybody looking for some good Chinese food.

Just picked up an order of chicken fried rice but this is most definitely not chicken. It has a weird taste and texture and I can't eat it. I should have turned around and left when I saw I was the only person in the resturant. I used to love this place but never again will I ever come back.

We ordered delivery yesterday (June 16th) after living here in Oak Point for many years, but not trying local Chinese.. we miss the Chicago area Chinese food, and decided to give Rice Pot a try. The owners are amazingly friendly and assured us the food was old school Chinese food... They did NOT dissapoint!!!! Food was amazing, delivery super fast and we will be coming back for more soon enough. Thank you!

I called in for my order and the lady was very lazy on the phone she didn’t ask for a name of the order she didn’t ask the proper questions for what I wanted on my order lo main was made incorrectly and was absolutely pitiful no flavor no vegetables didn’t ask if I wanted any proteins hung up very fast she’s lucky the honey sesame chicken was okay at least she did that right overall mid asl.
I go to Rice pot on a regularly basis and enjoy the shrimp fried rice. The employees are always so friendly and will be going back soon. They have been in the neighborhood for a very long time and I value their business.

This place only has one star because I have to give some type of store, but this place does not deserve anything. They deserve to be shut down the quality and the lack of concern for their mishaps is baffling to me. I repeat please don’t waste your money.

The woman was coughing, and then stating she made the food like it was supposed to be, However, the woman lie about the shrimp, walnut, saying that it was just sauce and walnut and shrimp when it had all type of vegetables and other things in it and old meat and the fried rice, please save yourself the trouble

I'll just order last night.The food was not fresh or correct I repeated the order twice and it was repeated back to me... when I received the order it was not correct and it had chicken that was old in it mind you I asked specifically for no chicken and she raised her voice hung up the phone 3 times stating nothing was wrong with the food... not to mention one of my drinks was open don't order from here.... Not a good place to patronize seriously rude and disrespectful

Don't believe the negative reviews! This food is amazing and the most authentic taste you will get anywhere in North Dallas area. A Mom and Pop restaurant, husband is the cook and wife runs the front. They provide the best service and the food is always fresh made to order and of great quality. I recommend any of the lo mein or fried rice dishes and try the Walnut Shrimp! It's disappointing seeing the haters trying to harm this little gem with their petty insults. Please, give it a try and judge for yourself.
