I ordered and they over charged me and would refund my 2.00 said that his boss JAD wouldn’t allow it. They didn’t even try to make it they basically told me nothing they could do.

My food was cold, french fries tasted like they've been laying in the pan for a while. My hamburger meat was not freshly cooked and apparently been hanging around for a while also and God forbid should I ask for an extra napkin they don't have any on the counter for you to help yourself. Almost like being in a foreign country

Being from Maine, we don't have these locally. It's my first go to whenever I land in Texas. Their burgers are always on point, and they end up being my main source of food for my stays in Texas.

July 7, 2025 Update: came down to Texas for 4 days to visit a friend, came here twice. Both times, the management were very friendly to us, but extremely rude, ignorant and mean to their employees, to the point I almost said something to them. 1 of the supervisors was berating an employee 3 feet from me, when the employee didn't even do what she was accused of doing. Employees were all great, my issue lied with the management. Food still on point though.

Ordered through the Whataburger App & when I arrived at the store there was no record of my order. Took the employees nearly 10 minutes to ask for my name & another 5 minutes to ask for my digital receipt. When the order was brought up on my phone we discovered the store system had cancelled my order without explanation.
They asked me to reorder through the app (to receive my online reward, the whole reason for my visit), after reordering a second time the store cancelled the order AGAIN. They apologized stating that “oh it just happens sometimes & randomly cancels orders”.
After asking how I could receive both the promotion and/or get my money back, they told me to call the 1-800 help number & then I’d be refunded for BOTH of the orders placed.
Poor service and I guess poor technology? Super sketchy.

As far as Whataburger’s go, this is one of the better ones. While, I’d say the quality for the chain has gone down over the last few years, this location seems to be doing a better job than others. Our order accuracy is consistent here. While there is an occasional little hiccup in quality, it’s never anything drastic. And let’s be real - these days, that’s saying something in the fast-food world. Most of the time, I do curbside pickup and those associates are always friendly, which really helps with the overall experience.

Also, it’s a small thing, but I appreciate that they aren’t stingy with the condiments. Some places you go, the employees act like they’re paying for the ketchup from their own paycheck. Lol

We’ve made so many trips here and there will be plenty more. Thanks!
