I dont eat fast food but I was have a hankering for specialty drinks. I ordered a slush of the same flavors at the Mount Pleasant location and the slush had a stale taste to it with a weird unexplainable after taste. I ordered the exact same slush at this Daingerfield location and it was spot on. I was warned about going to Mount Pleasant sonic and I'm never ordering from them again. Hughes Springs location is good as well.
Sonic food is different but average to the burger industry. It is, however, my wife's go-to place for tea and a snack. My big complaint with Sonic? They stopped selling the Frito cheeze chilli pie. That's just wrong. It is one of my favs. The potato chili wrap just does not do it for me. It is un-American to substitute a tortilla for fritos. I have had a couple of managers say, "ask staff to make you one. " I tried that, Instant brain freeze. If it is not...
Ordered our food and everything was OK till we got home. One of the burger items that we ordered was supposed to be dry. Which means no Mayo, mustard or ketchup. Veggies are still supposed to be in the burger. Someone needs to research or retrain what dry means. This is the third time this has happened.
