Terrible service and food
Ate here the last night they were open. They should have just closed it early food was not edible drinks were watered down and bitter. Service was annoyed they had to be there. We went hoping all the reviews were just compared to old campo, they were not this restraunts deserved to be closed.

It was always a really great place. Loved the Fort Worth location when I was a kid.

I went for the awesome setup, I loved the pictures we took but service was bad. We were told they couldnt seat 6 people because they were booked for large reservations, yet the whole hour and a half that we were there, we were looking at a big empty round table that could easily fit 6. Despite us being seated separately we were automatically charged gratuity for a large group. They messed up my girlfriend's enchilada order, my soup was super salty, and my mom was upset that we were being treated as lesser customers because every table got cloth napkins and we had nothing. Until after we got our main course we were given some paper napkins.

Food was horrible. Enchiladas tasted like rubber and beans was sweet and sour all at the same time. Just not the same as it use to be. They are taking down the Christmas lights and redoing it so no more Christmas lights. So sad. Never coming back here. Waste of money!

I give two stars to the atmosphere because it would be nice …..if I saw more of it.
I hate to say it, but I feel racially profiled because I expected a festive pre-Christmas dinner with my family prearranged reservations, and when we came in, they seated the group that walked in - in separate sections, but made us follow each other and the hostess to our seats they all got amazing seats with very festive atmosphere and they parked me and my family who are Hispanic in the back with no Christmas decorations and I look over and there’s one another Mexican family next to us. Away from the fun.
We were seated, and the waitress pretended not to understand us. Whenever we asked for lemons with our water she ran away, never brought it to us. We were never checked on. We had to ask to order our food. The service is terrible. The food bland and tasteless.
It’s very sad because the concept of this restaurant could really stand to make a lot of money if they tried.
The only good thing is the bartender who was kind and walked to deliver our drinks to us personally because I guess the waiters are trained to only clean and not talk.
White seniors seem to make up the demographic and it shows in the menu.

We tried to call to do a reservation and they never answer. They have a bad attitude bad service. I don’t recommend this even though I’m Hispanic the food is not even good.

Went here for dinner with family. Order the chicken quesadillas which weren't bad but my husband and sister in laws good was disgusting. I also ordered a lemonade and it tasted like it was from a container that was left open for days and days. The only pro was the Christmas lights that my son enjoyed and the hostess and our waiter were nice and attentive.
Slow service, food was not good at all

Love campo verde!! We’ve had a family tradition to visit every December since my childhood. The new owner/chef really revamped the menu! We had the new queso, nachos and quesadilla; they were all GREAT. It’s no longer warm and stuffy as they’ve changed many of the Christmas lights to new LEDs. So sad to see this DFW staple close its doors, but thankful for all the great memories!
