Mike's is a beloved restaurant known for possibly having one of the best buffets around. The food is fresh, seasoned with love, and reminiscent of homemade meals. The fried chicken, chicken fried steaks, and peach cobbler are particularly outstanding. The staff is phenomenal, providing great service and contributing to an enjoyable dining experience. Mike often takes time to sit down with customers and chat, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome. Despite being a BBQ restaurant, Mike's offers excellent vegetarian options like the best black eyed peas. The Bacon Cheeseburgers are by far the best anywhere, and the Chicken Fried Chicken has received high praise. The customer service is exceptional, with the entire team eager to help and greet guests warmly. While some recent visits have noted some old or empty pans on the buffet, Mike's remains a great little restaurant that is affordable and worth the drive. Mike's now serves breakfast, which is also exceptionally good. The restaurant, while it may look a little older from the outside, is a nice, family-oriented spot with delicious food and top-notch service - definitely worth a visit.
