I usually like this place, but the last two times we have been shorted our okr order. When we call, they offer to give you a order of okra the next time you come in.

You don't get your full order and you can't call them. When calling you get a message to call back later.

We showed up kind of late after moving and being on the road all day. I had a BIG order to be filled, and the whole staff was so amazing with accommodating my family and fixing my order, with a smile on their face! We appreciate everything and will definitely be back time and time again! What a nice first impression of our new forever community. Thank.you Chicken Express Decatur.

I bought a 40 piece Super Bowl special how sad were cold the ones I got I was short two sides. I tried to call for 2 1/2 hours and no one would answer the phone, so I finally gave up. I will never go to the store again. I spent $108 and this is the type of service You

I like chicken express. I hate they don't have drink carriers. On chicken lots of time you are buying for 4 or more folks.

I have enjoyed this restaurant in the past but tonight I just sat for about half an hour waiting on a three piece meal. When I asked what was going on, I was told “they are waiting on tenders.” I didn’t order tenders. Yet I didn’t get my food but just had to wait in line. This is not the first time I have sat for 20+ minutes waiting on food here, either. Until management figures out how to fix this problem…avoid at all costs.

Love the gizzards. I have them every time I visit Texas... if you ask them to make them fresh they will.

They took my order at drive through kiosk and my money at the window. I had to ask for my total at the window. It wasn't offered at the kiosk or volunteered at the window. No thank you. No come back soon. No have a good evening. NOTHING. NOTHING ...... It is so incredibly expensive to eat here. $60 for 25 chicken strips, 2 family sides and rolls. Aside from the okra being cold, the food was good. At these prices, 3 of us literally ate at Texas Road House for $5 less including the $10 tip and we all ate steak, baked potatoes and a salad and rolls.

Now, this chicken place is really good about letting you have the breast partOf the chicken, but sometimes you get a fresh piece, or maybe you don'tYou can tell large breasts look great but dry inside, but everything else was good, but the star of the show always has been the breast, and it fell short this time around. It's also great buttery roll almost like Grandy rolls.

First, I am a fan of Chicken Express so this review is not about the Corp overall but about this location. I live in Decatur, 2 miles from this location. I drive past it and keep going another 10 miles to go to the Bridgeport Store. That folks is how badly managed the Decatur store is. It is not the employees that are at fault but the Manager, Especially the District Manager (who is rude, mean, nasty) and finally the Owner (who cares less about customer service) and should have his franchise taken away. The food is overcooked, dry. The soft drinks cup is {PACKED} with ice and then a little bit of soda is sprinkled on it - think snow cone. The sides are in these tiny cups which are then half full. You get maybe two or there bits from the sides. The last time I went there, I coming back from Fort Worth and did not want to drive additional 20 miles to go to Bridgeport so I stopped at the Decatur store. I ordered Liver. The always have to cook the liver fresh. I was ask to pull up and wait for 7 minutes. 15min later a car behind me was pulling away when an employ came running out with a gallon of tea. I honked at the car to stop, which it did. The employee thanked me for my help. I asked where my order was. "What order?" I showed him my receipt. He said he would get it right away. 10 min later, my order showed up. Nearly 30 min wait. I never blame employees - They are only as good as their training. I implore you to never do business with this location.. When business dies off, the owner will sell his franchise (hopefully to the owner of the Bridgeport store .)

The tenders were DRY and stringy and very small. Like, basically nuggets. The macaroni was soupy but also burnt? There were pieces of burned cheese scraped off the bottom in the cup. Okra and roll were good, so there's that.

Food was room temp at best. Not much flavor. Very disappointed.
