I’ve been hesitant to try this place because just about everything else in Decatur is mediocre AT BEST…. I can tell you that this place is much better than I expected.EDIT- I decided to go back for breakfast a few days later and Unfortunately the breakfast tasted like it came from a completely different restaurant, aside from the weird menu “quirks” and penned in changes on half the menus they don’t serve pancakes and waffles during the week (yes, you read that right!!!)...
Valentines dinner 2/14/23. We saw the post on Facebook and made plans and reservations. We walked in a few minutes early and were actually first in line. We were greeted and seated. The wine and service was outstanding. The salad was scrumptious, and the New York Strip was perfectly cooked. The loaded mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were to die for. Soooooo. First time here. Have been looking forward to coming here for quite some time now. We arrived at around 6pm. Orders submitted around 6:30. It's now 7:30. Around 7:15pm, advised there was a "glitch" in their order system. Others came and went while we still sit here. Manager came to apologize. Let us know it should be another 15 minutes.
